And here's an article from a few years ago criticizing him, but which nonetheless details his many ties to Israel. In fact, he has very close ties to Benjamin Netanyahu:

I can see people might come to the Nazi-coded conclusion, but I genuinely don't think it's the case. I think it, like most Sydney Sweeney commercials, is just revolving around the fact that she is very hot and has big boobs.

And the jeans/genes homophone joke is hardly and uncommon one. This isn't even the first controversial jeans commercial to leverage it. There was a absolutely abhorrent Calvin Klein commercial revolving around "genes". Though the controversy here was not because of eugenics but because it featured a 14-year-old Brooke Shields wriggling on the floor in a barely-buttoned shirt.
