That's why Mamdani had the upset victory that he had, he's just authentically true to himself and people see that. Not that I'm calling Mamdani establishment, just that being progressive or presenting yourself as such is not always enough to guarantee better results than establishment politicians, as Cinema and Fetterman have shown us.
