I feel like it gets this reputation as a "kid's game" because of the crowd it cultivates or whatever, but it can be pretty impressive and complex as an artistic tool. It's fun to make stuff out of the basic bricks, and if you feel like getting more invested you grab a modpack and see what the fancier bricks can do. agesboy 08/03/25 1:49:02 PM #19:	it's fun but not mind-shatteringly good, especially since a million games have iterated on the concept since then in more specialized ways it has some really cool mods though. skyblock (you start on a block in an infinite void and manufacture all the blocks and parts yourself) and the pixelmon (pokemon) are the neatest. ATLauncher will install the entire modpack and launch it for you as a separate instance from the main game if you ever want to fuck around with them if you can get people to play with you, it does get more fun. but it's not a requirement like a lot of survival crafters feel like --- https://imgur.com/LabbRyN raytan and Kana are on opposite ends of the Awesome Spectrum. <cite>agesboy posted [p:985981578] in Red pill m... I'm not sure how much better it's gotten in this regard, but some crafting recipes kinda required you to look up the materials/patterns. I remember the achievement system got added to help with the early game, but not sure how well it handles the late game.
