This. A lot of "barely legal" porn is "barely legal" because they make the performer look as young as possible to hit the "not legal" fetish, but then can say "But she IS legal!" Besides that, women are often groomed into it.

18 is used so arbitrarily in the US. If there's a reason to withhold alcohol use from those minor than 21, then it should apply all across the board to stuff like joining the army and doing porn.

Also 18 can look adult, but the brain is still far from being fully developed. I can settle for 19 though.

The US is an outlier for being overly conservative here. All other established developed countries have all of those at 18, including the UK.
That developed brain at 25 myth is pseudoscience from an outdated article from 3 decades ago.

The alcohol ban makes sense to me. 18 year olds are a lot less likely to cause car crashes or assault in the army, or in porn.

But if consenting adults want to roleplay classroom schoolgirl stuff, let them. The problem with pedos is that children can get hurt. If there's no actual children involved, then, while the subject matter might be uncomfortable, there's no actual problem.

If you're grown enough to join the military and kill people on command you should be able to decide you want to be in the business.

The only thing that does need to be reduced is the step bro/sis/mom stuff. But that's just my own annoyance and I'm sure a new fad will be created eventually.
