Well, I don't mean BONE dry... just not 'ehhh, add salsa and hotsauce to it" Also, I know horseraddish is dry, but that's way too stronk unless you know a recipe to tame it. Basically, I wanna have some HOT SPIECE!!!!! without relying on sauces and so far just dumping cayenne on everything isn't good enough. I mean, I don't have the highest scoville tolerance or anything, so I just need a little boost --- "Salt cures Everything!" My YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/Nirakolov/videos ... There's different kinds of spicy. Cinnamon can be very hot, but it has little staying power. Horseradish hits you in the sinuses, not the mouth. Sichuan pepper has a tingling effect. Ginger burns differently from cayenne, too. --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ... Copied to Clipboard!

if your going past cyanne, then start getting hotter peppers. Thai hot peppers, dry, are your next bet, if you want a spice that lasts long and you can just add it. Also, horseraddish isn't scoville... it's complicated. --- Nightwind "the wind has no destination" ... Copied to Clipboard!

Grated horseradish contains a chemical called allyl isothiocyanate, which is an irritant and lachrymator (tear producer). That's why you feel the burn mainly in your nose and sinuses and less in your mouth. Allyl isothiocyanate is toxic to the plant as well, so the horseradish plant stores it as two separate components, sinigrin and the enzyme myrosinase. These are kept in separate compartments called vacuoles within the cells. When the plant cells are damaged, such as an insect chewing on it or someone grating it, the vacuoles are disrupted and the two chemicals combine and release the allyl isothiocyanate. Horseradish (or wasabi) root is actually rather boring and has little odor. It only becomes pungent when you grate or slice the root, breaking open the cells and mixing together the two chemicals. --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ... I once bought a sampler pack of TeaZa energy pouches. They are kind of like snus, but they contain no tobacco or nicotine, just green tea, ginseng, and various herbs. You tuck the little pouch between your check and gum for flavor and a hit of caffeine. One of the flavors was mango habanero, and it was crazy hot. I had to spit it out after about 5 or 10 minutes; the other non-spicy flavors usually last a couple hours. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/3/3dd08a41.jpg --- Minutus cantorum, minutus balorum, Minutus carborata descendum pantorum. ...
