Eh, I didnt really notice a speech impediment other than maybe how she pronounces Texas. Shouldn't be a big deal. Not sure what those guys were laughing about. I thought it was when she mentioned themed parties when they all started to talk amongst themselves.

She seems fun. She'll find someone who'll be her adventure buddy.

Bad mixture of traits. The types of guys who can keep up with a traveling, scuba diving, partying woman probably want her to look and sound cooler than that woman does lol.

Like, before knowing anything about her lifestyle I'd date her, but after finding out how active she is and how she wants an "adventure buddy" I'd back out, since I'm a sedentary solitary bum. While for other guys it'd be the reverse.

I actually didn't see or hear anything that bad. I'd give her a chance. It is often hard to tell until you have an actual date.

They aren't cool enough yet. They still are insecure and think they have to act cool, which is the opposite of cool

The video feels like it was edited to be like, worse than it was. Like it looks like there were guys who were potentially laughing about something or commenting and it was completely silent, it had weird cut-aways, etc. It doesn't feel very real.

Now, if it IS real, and this is just me personally... I want to know more about someone day to day. Like yeah, we all (mostly) love to travel and whatnot, but what did we learn about her? She likes scuba diving, skiing, and is going to Australia.

Unless the point of the video is to introduce yourself really quickly, it doesn't really tell me anything about her? It tells me she likes a couple outdoor activities and that she's going to Australia. *shrug*

Dudes that age are usually too insecure to manage dating a girl that doesn't seem like she fell straight out of Instagram. I'm sure if she were with a older and less insecure crowd she'd manage to find dudes that are willing to pick up what she's putting down.

Still more interesting than any woman who says their things are being a homebody, their dog and drinking.

The stigma of older guys with younger women is always there. When I was 38 I was dating a 25 year old. It helps that everyone who doesn't know me thinks I'm early 20s. This woman is about the same age as the one i was with. But now im 41. Id be down for kayaking and parties.

Doesn't have to be too much older. If the dudes in the room were 2 or a few more years older that would probably be enough.

But... her idea of adventure kinda screams "Spend a bunch of money" which I frankly can't afford.

I'm guessing a combination of the expensive tastes (travel) and her not being like an IG model knockout. Fix one of those and I'm guessing one or two guys would have come forward.

She's high maintenance. You're going to have to spend a lot of money and energy to keep her happy with her hobbies.

Yeah I'd say it comes down to the fact that her tastes sound expensive. Buying a set of scuba gear can usually be between $1,000 to $5,000. And then another $1,000+ for ski gear. Plus the cost of air fare and hotels.

I completely understand wanting an adventure buddy, but leading with those 2 hobbies really sets the tone for the type of adventures she's looking for.

Yup, totally this. Locked behind a paywall I cant afford. My worth (to me) isnt something I wanna attribute to how much money I have lol.

It is what it is.. Im not saying that I wouldnt like to be rich either.. but thats not really something Id put on my S.O as a stipulation for them to be datable

That doesn't mean she's not looking for a romantic relationship. Phrasing like that is actually pretty common. When I was on dating apps, there were plenty of women who wanted a long term relationship and referred to it as "partner in crime" or "adventure buddy." People want to share hobbies they enjoy with their partners. Whether that be gaming, collecting, hiking, gardening, traveling, or whatever else.

I just think that she needs a very specific type of guy if she wants him to go along with those specific hobbies that she led with.

She sounds exactly like the 80s nerd stereotype.

You basically agreed with me here. She showed up wrong, which will make her unattractive in this scenario. Even disregarding the physical, nothing she stated even eluded to a romantic relationship. Yes, she'll need a very specific partner, which she probably wouldn't find on a dating show like this. She seems like a nice girl; the kind of girl your grandma tries to set you up with, who's the youngest person from her church group.

If it isn't staged, I think it's her overall presentation. She sounds like someone who would talk nonstop until your ears bleed and she could use a makeover like in Mean Girls. Guys that age want a hot girl, not a frumpy one. She may do better with a more nerdy crowd.

Don't know the context of this, but it didn't look genuine, or likely to provoke real life responses.

I'm not agreeing with you, though. I'm saying that her hobbies didn't appeal to the guys who were there. But it could appeal to other guys on dating shows or apps. If they're all there looking for someone to date, I don't think it's necessary for her to specifically mention romance. It's clear enough that she wants to do all of that with a boyfriend, otherwise she wouldn't be there in the first place.

It is very easy for those of us who don't like to travel.

I mean she started off with Scuba Diving and traveling to Australia. While these can be fun activities they aren't really activities you'll find a lot of people want to do with someone they barely know.

I bet if she started with something like hiking which isn't costly and more lowkey she would have seen some hits.

It's really a situation of know your audience.

I personally prefer more low-key activities like hiking. Scuba diving sounds cool but also costly, so idk lol

Still, she's cute and seems likable. I'd give her a chance.

I dont like to swim or go to parties, so probably not a good match.
