Even with the added caveat about surviving either, I'm thankfully rich enough where this isn't remotely close to being a consideration.

If I was financially scrapped and could survive without salt, then I guess salt.

Ignoring the essential nutrient aspect and assuming this is talking about added amounts and not natural amounts easily sugar. Salt is too essential in cooking. I already avoid anything with added sugar.

I mean without salt we all die, but isn't is also bad to be without sugar? There's natural sugar found in all sort of things like fruits, isn't it like the main way our body gets glucose or something? I'm not gonna research super hard into it but I feel like if we had no form of sugar whatsoever we probably also die from that

Isnt cutting sugar out of your diet a healthy choice? So 2 million and a healthier diet is a win win.

i didnt see TCs edit until after I posted, but i think glucose is a sugar and we need glucose. i think the body can produce it regardless even if you exclude sugar from the diet, but if you exclude sugar from your body/existence, i think that means no more glucose since its a sugar and therefore youre dead
