I'll never get over the super nice smell of my shampoo/conditioner when I take my pony tail out after a long day, but I had showered that morning. Yesterday was extra nice. I transferred to a different store this week, yesterday was my first closing shift... And I missed the last bus so I ended up just walking the ~3.2miles. It was still around 85f out. I was sweaty and super gross feeling. Let my hair down and got hit with the super refreshing smell and felt instantly better. [LFAQs-redacted-quote] I don't really mind washing it, though it has definitely made me understand hair being fucking everywhere. I grew up with sisters so it always baffled how there would be so much hair everywhere, yet still so much on their head. I now understand this. --- Cookin like a chef, I'm a 5 Star Michelin ... i let my hair grow out for years, but i got damn tired of it constantly tangling, taking fucking forever to dry, and just being a complete pain in the ass to keep out of my face. probably the most annoying thing was the wispy strands of hair that escape whatever tie or braid you have and just kind of float in your face. i cut and donated all that and now i just buzz cut my hair every few months. --- Taarsidath-an halsaam. I always wanted to grow my hair out, but I knew I wouldn't have been able to handle the JewFro phase. I didn't work at all during the Pandemic, so it was the perfect time. It's a brutal two-three month phase, but once you're passed that, it gets so much better. Sidenote - I'm Jewish. It's a straight up JewFro. And not like a hahaha dorky Boy Meets World fro. Just out. Big, thick, and out. Edit: I impulsively cut my hair just shy of two years ago, donated it to Children with Hair Loss... And instantly regretted it. The super awkward phase was still really bad the second time around, but I knew a real time line so it didn't feel as bad. --- Cookin like a chef, I'm a 5 Star Michelin ... Copied to Clipboard!

I like all the compliments I get on having crazy tons of long-ass hair I have no shame in admitting that a big part of why I haven't cut it down a bit is how often I get complimented on my hair and told how jealous every woman is of it (like, in a positive way) Also, I haven't worn my hair down in well over 6 months, because I feel like it looks a mess down. Just last week my roommate was like 'you need to wear your hair down. I don't know why you don't - you look like Beast when he transforms into a human.' meh, Ive had shoulder length or longer hair for a decade and a half, and its a pain in the ass but my hair is extremely straight and soft, so its either that or a buzz cut. Otherwise it will just make like a fucking puffball around my head I had the buzz cut for a couple decades, and I just got tired of having to get it cut every two weeks or otherwise it looks like shit. Or, you could touch it up yourself everyday and double your shaving time (also very hairy) everyday which was even more of a pain in the ass. could also plaster it with product, which Ive done as well but that isnt fun either still a lot better than bald (for me at least, some guys it works) --- ........the ghost in the machine... I liked having long hair when I was younger. I always wanna grow it out again since I think I look pretty good with it, but I get so impatient and annoyed with it and I hate how it looks in the "transition" phase as it grows. I usually go three/four months before I can't take it anymore and get a haircut. It is nice to not have to style or wash it as much when short and I do like a clean-cut look as well. --- Add me on Switch! FC: SW-3465-2506-6411 Formerly known as Coleby ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've always wanted long hair, but I'm afraid to grow it out. It's wavy when shorter, but at a certain length it grows into big curls. Then it seems to stop growing longer, because the curls just keep looping on themselves and it looks more like it's growing out in all directions. It gets bigger rather than longer. I really don't like it when it gets to that stage. So that tends to be the cutoff point for me. I generally get 2 haircuts a year, one in the spring and one in the fall. But sometimes I just get 1 when it reaches that stage. There was one time a couple of years ago that I actually managed to grow past that stage. The weight of the hair was enough to pull it down rather than out and I thought it started to look nice. I asked for a light trim, just to help clean it up, and snip, there went like 7 inches in hair. >_> I haven't had the heart to get to that point again. --- My YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@steelfang8806 My Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/steelfangkoga ... Update: A coworker, completely unprompted and out of total nowhere came up and asked me what kind of conditioner I use. Why? 'it looks well conditioned' For mega bonus context, I just transferred to this store last week and don't know her at all. And it wasn't at all like, a come on or anything like that. It was straight up just saying my hair looks good. Yea...I've gained a lot of confidence recently regarding my hair, and will absolutely be wearing it down more.
