...doesn't really look / feel like the right fit for a comedy show anymore in the recent seasons? I dunno what it is but something just feels off about him nowdays, that wasn't there in the earlier seasons. The rest of the cast is fine but yeah, IDK, there's just something off about him nowdays.

(I should clarify that I'm talking more about the actor than the character here.)

They are, but the rest still feel like they fit the style just fine. Even Frank, whos basically older than all the others combined.

I dunno, its like, watching the latest episodes Dennis feels really out of place somehow. I always considered him to be the main character in the past but idk, yeah

Interestingly people were saying that about Mac/Rob for a while. I love the actors and their podcast but it can be a bit harder to watch Rob, Kaitlin and Glenn since their plastic surgery.

I really can't. There's no specific attribute I can pinpoint that makes me feel this way about him, it's just a general vibe. Like I guess almost some kind of "uncanny valley" effect... which I guess would make sense if he's gone a bit nuts with the plastic surgery. I don't exactly keep up with that kind of thing, in all honesty the limit of my knowledge of the actors' identities or lives is that Frank is played by a guy called Danny Devito who's pretty popular as an actor and I'm pretty sure I've seen in a few other things; and Charlie's actor is also named Charlie.
