As Clark Kent and Lois Lane

I'm sure neither is totally at fault

But I'm rewatching clips from MoS and BvS popping up on my feed and the lack of chemistry is GLARING

I don't really blame Cavill. He was stuck with that script and direction.

I mean it's really hard to make getting into a bathtub fully clothed remotely romantic, so while they maybe weren't the perfect match a lot of the shit writing absolutely affects an actor's ability to properly bring a character to screen.

No it is kinda flat.

I love Amy Adams but despite two scenes which were decent, she wasn't a great fit for Lois. I think my pick back then prior to Amy being cast was Rachel McAdams but I don't think she would have been able to elevate it either.

This is probably going to get me in trouble but until Rachel Brosnahan, movie Lois Lane's haven't been much good (yep, I'm including Margot Kidder in the bad group)

Lois seems to work better when there's more room to breathe (ie. In a series) Think about it, Dana Delany, Teri Hatcher, Erica Durance, Elizabeth Tulloch. All GREAT Lois'.
