The Big 12 seems hellbent on eliminating as many teams as possible today.

BYU, ASU down big. ISU lost again. It's almost already just Tech or bust.

BYU managed to come back to win, so it's theoretically still a two-team race

Texas Tech looks like the class of the conference right now though

ACC meanwhile is still on pace to have 3 potentially unbeaten in conference teams

Virginia is my favorite because theyre 5-1 and the loss was to NC State...who they scheduled non conference.

I figured Indiana would just take Oregon's spot. Been a theme this year.

And I had a feeling A&M would jump Ole Miss after how bad they looked.

And in a very fortunate turn for Notre Dame's eventual resume, USC is now ranked for their matchup next week.

I'm still very confused as to how James Franklin got fired and yet Luke Fickell still has a job.

And I'm saying this despite being someone who insisted to trust the process and be a little patient before the loss to Maryland. (I'm still calling out idiots who say we should never have fired Chryst. We'd be even worse off if we hadn't. His heart wasn't in it anymore.)

Lotta Rhule to Penn St. rumors flying around.

I like what Rhule has done to Nebraska, but I wouldn't mind if he left. It's also just weird in that he isn't exactly that much more of an upgrade over Franklin(or isn't at all). Worst case is he gets into some bidding war and we end up giving him a huge extension making him the highest paid coach in football.

Rhule has shown he can rebuild no doubt, but he has never shown to get over t he same hump Franklin could never get over. Granted he has never stuck around to show that he could.

Yeah, I wouldn't think Rhule would be much of an upgrade over Franklin considering he can't beat ranked teams

There are rivalry games where both teams should wear their home colors

Tennessee/Alabama is one

USC/UCLA is another

This is the first time in 45 years that Vanderbilt has been favored against a ranked team

Also there are rumors that this could be Napier's last game for Florida, win or lose

They should just let Napier go now instead of letting him twist in the wind week after week like this. Unless their plan is to avoid paying the buyout, but I don't see how they can possibly keep him after this season.
