PC games can have really bad performance with UE too. UE does make games look great with really realistic reflections and textures, but once stuff starts happening it can get really bad performance. So it's good for the bullshot screenshots that are catnip for reviewers and publisher managers. It's lousy for gamers. Some games are fine with it on pc, and they're often the ones with an annoying shader compilation screen when you load the game. Others do that and have lots of stuttering. Top scores everywhere pre-launch, and it launched with gamebreaking glitches, half the perks didn't work, alchemy effects and bonus stats not working, quests not progressing as they should or didn't even start, etc. Remember how publishers of games like Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction and Kane & Lynch demanded near perfect score or else they would pull away their ads money?
