The Long Walk is one of my favorite Stephen King stories, so I'm tempted to go see this (especially after hearing that it's good). Looking at showtimes, though, the problem for me seems to be that none of the theaters close to me (not that there are many any more) seem to be showing it.

I remember hearing about this.... many, many moons ago. Like with The Last Voyage of the Demeter (which was a fun romp but still not as good as it could have been and also stuck in development hell for a decade+) I will be going to see this one in theaters. Looks fun, and I'm sure after I have a face for all the characters, they will replace what I have in my head every time I re-read the story.

Movie looks interesting, but not too happy about Hamill being in it after all the bull*** he has said over the past few years. I'll probably wait for streaming.

Sometimes theaters dont have showtimes up until 10 days or so before. At least thats the case for many of the ones near me. Check back closer to the movie release date and see if theyve updated their showtimes

If it's any consolation if they keep it true to the book, he won't be in it for more then a couple scenes.

Who knows though, I do see some changes they've already made. Not sure what he said that got all the leftists up in arms though.

It's not really a surprise sure when the book came out it was edgy and controversial but in 2025 fiction like this is not that hard to do.

What has Hamill said that's so bad?

You can often only see times for showings for the next 3 or 4 days here.
