Lazy_Haar 08/27/25 1:07:56 PM #5:	This is probably the Final Fantasy I wish they'd revisit (i.e. remake) the most, as I feel like the groundwork for a great game is there, but the execution was lacking. Not saying I dislike the game, but I felt like it was a step down from the previous two entries. He was very unlikable and he got away with it because he was good looking both in his universe and IRL. The girls I knew who liked JRPGs didn't care about Squall's personality because they thought he was hot. In comparison to FF7, Cloud was only an ass initially to people who could take it such as Barrett since he was rough around the edges himself. --- Don't like it? Don't watch it. Picking a favorite soundtrack out of FF's prime run is like picking your favorite children, but while I love 8's soundtrack, I struggle to think of moments during the game where it elevated an otherwise-good or even mediocre moment to the stratosphere the way 6, 7, 9, and 10's soundtracks did.
