Paddles that allow pushing LB / RB with my middle fingers, thus meaning it's not a pain in the ass to push the shoulder and triggers on the same side at the same time.

Currently printing a DS5 version as well (I have both controllers, despite having neither system).

The DS5 one was clearly a quick upload a low effort remix and hope it works well enough to earn some points job. It didnt even process properly in the slicing software.

Not gonna give up though. Ive adjusted the model to the point it at least prints; still fine tuning some of the details that the original model had wrong.

DualSense* version is here. (I keep forgetting it's called the DualSense, not the DualShock 5.)

I also uploaded my modified version of the model to Printables, so if anyone else here has a 3D printer (or access to one) and wants to do this mod, they can: https://www.printables.com/model/1402349-l1r1-paddles-for-dualsense-ps5-controller/files

If you're interested in the Xbox version, look under the models that my one is remixed from.

That's pretty ingenuitive. You might want to look into 8BitDo controllers if you play on PC. A couple models actually have mappable L4/R4 buttons placed in between the bumpers and triggers. They're smaller, tactile without making noise and have the perfect amount of travel so in a lot of cases it's more convenient and comfortable to use them compared to the actual bumpers.

Good call on modding the DualSense. One of my only complaints is how the L1/R1 buttons are designed.

so to push the left shoulder button you are using the right paddle on the back? seems convoluted.

No, fuck that lmao. There is a model that works that way for the Xbox controller, but there's also a version that doesn't cross over (at the cost of a "less natural" feel when pressing the paddles, though I think it's perfectly fine?) which is the one I went with.

Because I can neither comfortably grip the controller with only my last two fingers, nor finely control how hard I'm pushing the trigger if I'm either using my middle finger to push it, or using my index finger to push both buttons at the same time. For older digital-only controllers it's doable but it's just awkward as hell with analog triggers.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

Not overly familiar with the Elite controller, but I mean... if all else fails, the fact these are 3D printed from a downloadable and editable model file means that if anyone doesn't find them comfortable enough, they can just change them. But yeah, just as-is they seem pretty good.
