The tennis serve is more likely. Hitting a baseball is the hardest thing to do in all of major sports.

Feel like the baseball one would be easier since the field of play is much larger that you pretty much just have to get any sort of contact. With tennis you have to contact AND get it over the net AND in a very small area.

So the MLB one you get as many pitches it takes to get struck out right?

Doesn't that give you more chances than the tennis serve?

Or are you getting served aces until you lose the game which is normally 4 shots?

Technically the tennis serve gives you more chances to win vs the MLB but like someone said the precision is rough to return an actual pro player serve.

The MLB hit is easier since you can bunt, but if it's a pro pitcher he might intentionally throw balls at you and since you "swung" with a bunt you'll get struck out without ever having a chance.

I don't think I'd ever take either bet, but it's fun thinking about which one is subjectively easier at least.

I wouldn't take either bet. I played tennis with my aunt before, but I couldn't return her serves. She was launching those things at me, I couldn't imagine an actual pro. And baseball would be even worse lol

Too high of a buy-in with too low odds of success. Especially if its only one chance. Do you at least get a few attempts?

Dunno if I'd take the bet, especially if I only get one shot at it. If I did it, I'd probably try the MLB bet and go for a bunt.

Fastball is the way to go and worth the gamble to tenfold your money. If it's just one pitch it would have to be strike zone otherwise it'd be a sham of an offer. Knowing that, it will still be challenge, but you could practice bunts with a pitching machine to increase your confidence and likelihood of making contact. Which as long as you don't foul it out is all you need to do. Don't need to make a base hit or anything.

The baseball one sounds easier, so that.
