Them saying they've toned down the juvenile humor is tempting, but I'm just not that interested in the franchise now.

Borderlands one was fun when it came out. All others were a slog that I had to force myself through (and only survived by muting the dialogue in options).

Shit sucks. No way I'm paying another penny for it.

I will probably wait a good while for it when it is on sale and once all the DLC is out.

No. I've tried literally every borderlands. I get bored partway through. I just don't gel with them

The gameplay looks great and the new VHs look fun, and from what they've shown they do seem to be toning down the cringe humor like they said they would.

-Heard the dialogue in 3 was bad, but it was so much worse than I'd anticipated. It wasn't even so bad that it was good, it was just painful.
-People swore that 3 had the best gameplay of the series so far. I Found the gameplay of 3 to be pretty bad
-The introduction of anti-cheat in a co-op game pretty much implies that they're going to be filling it with microtransactions

Eventually maybe? But certainly not right away, or even in the next year or two. BL3 was fun for a bit, but not great (or even good tbh), so Im in no rush to play BL4. Plus I already have a backlog of games

BL3 left a bad taste in my mouth, but I think BL4 might be better. I do plan to get it and play through it with a friend.

Eventually, yes. I enjoy the series but it's the least excited I've been for a new Borderlands game and I've got no reason to pick it up on release, so I'll just grab it on sale somewhere down the line.

I wasn't going to because I remember the state BL3 released in but it's against my nature to wait and it finally caught me up in the hype, where as with BL3 I followed it for months and was super hyped and pre-ordered as soon as it was available.

I pre-ordered BL4 last week when I started seeing more about it pop up in my recommended.

When it drops down to $20 or less, sure. Learned my lesson after getting the Super Deluxe edition of BL3. Tina's Wonderland was a step back in the right direction, just not enough.

I might try BL4 if it goes into Game Pass and I hear good things about it, but I'm not spending a cent on it. I enjoyed BL2 a lot (never played the original) but Pre-Sequel and 3 felt like huge steps down and weren't worth the price.

If Randy Pitchfork knew how to shut the fuck up for five seconds, I'd have probably pre-ordered.

My son really wanted it and was hyped, then he played Borderlands 3 again and unhyped himself he said he can wait until it goes on sale.
