Rocky 4 really was kind of great. Maybe not THE BEST but I haven't put a lot of thought into it. We got driving montages, training montages, we got clip shows described as montages, etc.

Was R4 the one with Eye of the Tiger? The movie wasn't my favorite, but EotT rules.

Anyway, it wouldn't count for this topic since it wasn't an 80's movie, but just throwing it out there: 1's soundtrack was way better even considering EotT. The way they combined and hyped up the boxing fanfare with the Rocky theme (which, note, to this point was sad) for the title match is one of my very favorite moments from any movie ever.
