Granted, who knows. But yeah, he can be contradictory at times. He signed off on Mara Jade's existence and marrying Luke and decided he didn't like the character or the marriage later. Because he's insidious!) and Darth Dooku for crying out loud. That last one he's basically talking to little kids like, "Hey kids! This guy is really bad! We don't like him! He's dookie!" The only good title he came up with was Vader, and that was by accident. The rest are basically "This is a bad guy!" and "We'll call this bad guy a mean name!"
