Civilization VII, unIronically. I personally love it, though it has definitely been monitored out the ass and is going. The way of beyond earth fast as fuck. But I like the changes for the most part while I am fine with the civ switching, it's annoying. Because they means I always face the same civilizations every single game. So it's repetitive in that way. But the commanders make the combat amazing and the way you build and make cities now is freakin awesome. But honestly, I think Anno 117 is going to take it when it comes out. The demo is sooooo good. Yes, the hour does suck but it's fine in my opinion. The only games released this year I have bought so far are Mario Kart World, Age of Mythology Retold, and Rift of the Necrodancer. Rift is by far my favorite, I enjoy music games quite a bit, and Rift of the Necrodancer has one of the best game soundtracks ever --- We're on a journey to forever! E33, but I still need to play Silksong a lot more (only put like 2-3 hours in so far), still need to play more of DK Bananza (only got through the tutorial layer so far), and Hades 2 at the end of the month puts yet another game on my backlog to get to.
