I dont know anything about this game. But if it was a game I was interested in, I would just wait and buy it used.

I wasn't going to buy the game, but on the basis of not being interested. I hope it does well solely out of spite, now.

Regardless of how you feel about Kirk, either way, I just wish people would learn to quit impulsively dropping charged takes on social media. Given the amount of people who get in trouble from it, I can't believe anyone still runs to social media to blast their every thought.

It has a female protagonist who doesn't look like a super model, doesn't have a sexy revealing outfit, and is voiced by a gender fluid VA. They did not have pre-orders to cancel.

Welp, looks like I'm keeping my money, then. Shame, because I liked Tsushima quite a bit and was looking forward to Yotei. If they hadn't immediately caved to the chuds' demands, that would have been an easy "Yes" vote out of me.

But considering the cascade of fuckups and faceplants already present - the ironic nature of Kirk's assassination, Patel's bungling FBI, the current facts pointing to a high likelihood of this being right on right violence - I feel like making a public trollpost over Kirk's death serves little more than violating the principle of "never interrupt your enemy when they're making a mistake."

Kinda how I feel. Guy didn't deserve what happened to him, and he'll never learn the lesson that he created the violence that ended up consuming him.

But are they also going after people for posting concerns or criticizing his rhetoric when he was still alive? People here said they were a couple days ago but i haven't seen any evidence of this, just retaliation against people for celebrating his death.

Nope; doesn't influence me either way. The deciding factor for me will be if I like Ghost of Tsushima. I'm currently waiting for a good sale to buy it.

Conservatives were already trying to cancel that game. They hated it the moment it was revealed you play a female main character. The same people defending Charlie Kirk were never going to like this game anyway

I'd probably just buy it or not buy it based on if I actually wanted it as a game like most people (I hope). Would be weird to buy an extra copy to own someone or not buy a copy of something I might want because of one random person's opinion, which seems to be being shared by a lot of people anyway

Honestly as much as I might be tempted to buy it I know thats just what Grummz and his alt right anti woke culture crusaders want

they want it to fail so they can point at Erika Ishii and say because they made the game woke and because the main character isnt a man or super stripperific women is why it failed
