Mistere_Man posted... I have no idea what the director did. The script was originally written to have the main characters to be lovers. There was also an unfilmed scene where she forces herself on Leon while he cries. Luc Besson (the director) was inspired to write it based on the relationship with his wife at the time, who he started dating when she was 15, and had met a few years prior. I did read that at some point he was supposed to be autistic so maybe that's a hold over from that Well another thing to consider is the guy was a professional hitman, so handling emotions of others wasnt something he usually cared about. Also he was not a father, nor had any experience with kids before, so honestly I am not surprised he didnt know exactly how to handle the situation, but again thankfully he didnt act on them, and just tried his best to explain she was just confused. Please remember it has been many many years since I have seen the movie so my Memory of how things played out could be totally off. Still to my knowledge he handled it understandably imo for a usually emotionless killer with no experience raising kids. --- Water+Fall=Radiation. ... Copied to Clipboard!
