I've been following a Russian Youtuber named Roman who talks about things going on in Russia under Putin. Through him, it's striking to see how much Fox News resembles Russian media.

There's basically a guy on Russian state media who is just like Kilmeade. He says the most batshit crazy things on his show such as the homeless are parasites who need to be exterminated. According to Roman, he basically introduces these batshit insane ideas Putin is secretly contemplating so that it becomes normalized to the Russian people. It's a way for the state to test the waters so to speak. Red-Kilmeade supporters always say the guy is joking, but the Crimean invasion started as a joke on this guys show before it was officially declared.

This Kilmeade clone pretends to be a Russian patriot, but his main residence is a villa in Italy. His children go to Italian private schools. Roman aired a video where Russian tourists were heckling him at a fancy restaurant in a wealthy Italian district.

There was a time I would disagree with this (mainly because I think of myself as a liberal).

But that was before that awful Ezra Klein column that sanewashed Kirk. If that shit is what liberalism is, then I want no part of it.
