I've heard that MGS Delta and Borderlands 4 run worse on the Pro...is there a list of games somewhere?

I'm not sure if there is a definitive list but I never thought I would see the discussion I just read on the PS5 board where a poster was arguing that the Pro was worse because it automatically ran some things at 60 fps and ruined it compared to the base PS5 which would run it at 30 fps and that on the base model you could choose whether you wanted a fidelity mode with 30 fps as opposed to the pro that just gives you was is essentially fidelity mode with 60 fps.

Like after all the years there was complaints about 30 fps and now the moment the hardware gives you 60 fps someone was like "No I want my option to choose 30 fps back" Kind of amusing really.

Borderlands 4 does not run worst on the PS5 pro, and even more so when the performance fixing/memory leak patch dropped wednesday.

Actually just came back from seeing that same stupid topic, lol. I don't even know why I browse the main console boards sometimes. Like 95 percent of those topics is just mind-numbingly dumb, and with a nice side dash of cope and reassurance.

"Thank god I did not buy a PS5 pro!"......*poster talking like they even had a option for that shit in the first place and needed to break out the piggy bank to save up for a used base PS5 in like 2023.*

Anyway, the main 5 PS5 pro games you will see people bring up about performing worse is alan wake 2, jedi star wars survivor, doom the dark ages, silent hill 2 r, and metal gear solid 3 delta.

Most of these games already got a PS5 pro-related patch at some point.

Digital foundry put out their silent hill f performance video and some people is really latching on to that one minor complaint digital foundry had about shimmering in the grass or whatever. I already put hours into the game and personally did not notice a single thing that would bother me, but the shimmering is there. frame-rate wise the game runs great.

Game is looking like wild arms 1 and runs similar to multiplayer goldeneye with everyone using proximity mines in the facility.

There has been a contingent of console gamers that will always defend 30 fps. They at least have largely stopped claiming that the human eye can't see the difference.
