Honestly I cant tell whats going on with those pictures you posted but if its a physical crack the panel was probably put together with a flaw like being overly tightened and after warming up from normal use and cooling off enough times you got a stress fracture. Sorry to hear that. But that bottom photo doesnt look like a physical crack. Looks like a line from a board/panel issue and is too prominent to just be banding. I love my 83 inch LG G4 and would be seriously bummed out to wake up to that. Im a hardcore home theatre junkie who spends the vast majority of my free time watching movies/tv or gaming. Honestly it would crush me. Id replace it right away but would take probably a week to get it. --- PSN ID: sled_dogs76 60" Pioneer Kuro Elite PRO151FD, Yamaha RX-V3900 A/V Receiver, Oppo DV983-H player. [LFAQs-redacted-quote] Much better picture. Not a crack. A line of dead pixels. I have seen this before and while sometimes it periodically goes away and returns ultimately people end up needing a new panel. People will say run pixel refresher and wait a week and it can go away but that is more severe than vertical banding which is known about. That is a panel defect. Do you see it during normal content? Id try to get a replacement but in the meantime if its not there during normal content at least you could still use it without being distracted. Its weird on that second closeup you can see scratches on the bezel where it looks like something hit it and that is right where the row of dead pixels is. That is similar to what happened with my vita's screen. Row of dead pixels started appearing....at first it was like 2 lines, and then it just slowly increased. Those pixels is more than likely dead. You can try going to this site on your TV to see if that line can be unstuck, but from what I've read up on something like this the only other option is to repair the screen. (and at this point you might as well just buy a replacement). https://www.jscreenfix.com/ But yeah I hear you on not having the money to actually repair or replace something like that asap. These TVs is way too expensive to be screwing up in under 5 years of ownership. --- GTag:MadDogg730 PSN:lMadDogg NNID:xMadDoggx NS friend code:5313-0564-0819 Go buy cyber shadow like right now. ... Looks like something inside fried. Could probably be repaired by switching out a part by someone who knows what they're doing. Yeah with the scuff being there looking like physical damage on the bezel and the line being RIGHT there where that is I'm convinced that either the panel itself wasn't assembled correctly and was a ticking time bomb flaw from it being stressed in conjunction with heating and cooling cycles being on and off or that you over tightened when mounting it. Not trying to throw you under the bus or anything but I have seen this situation a lot when people mount tvs. It is really unfortunate.
