I used to call myself a cheese lover, but then I encountered certain blue cheeses that smell like vomit and washed-rind cheeses that smell like stinky feet.

They made me question calling myself a true cheese lover.

I'm very basic with my cheese preferences. I prefer mellow and mild. I want a distinct cheese flavour but nothing too pungent.

Yeah, cheese is great. Actually one of my biggest expenses.

I like it. I like some of it a lot.

But I can't eat too much of it. Makes me feel like I've overindulged very quickly.

My life didn't really start until I had a mozzarella stick.

In general yes. I favour the smooth and mild cheeses over anything sharp.

I guess it depends on how you define the term. I'm the cheese lover equivalent of one of those people who play like two mobile games that they got for free that are actually glorified Flash games.

Yes. There are plenty of cheeses I haven't tried yet, but I've not yet had a cheese that I didn't enjoy to some degree. I also love Wisconsin.

Sure, but I wouldn't call myself a connoisseur. I don't know the difference between loads of different cheeses or care much for overly fancy or stinky cheeses. I just really like a good smoked cheddar, for instance.

This. I really can't stand most cheeses as they are but you melt it on top of something and it's gone.

I'm from Switzerland, so yeah.

We have a lot of great cheese and I'm not even referring to popular ones like Greyerzer (Gruyere), Appenzeller or Emmentaler. The best cheeses are from small, local cheese dairies no foreigner has ever heard of.

We love having a "Plttli" when we visit a restaurant up in the mountains after hiking. It's a food plate with cheese, dried meat, bread and other good stuff from local producers.

I definitely love cheese - all kinds. Roth blue cheese is so delicious.
