A cartridge razor holds one or more blades in a plastic cartridge, which attach to the handle. The cartridge can be disposed of and the handle reused.

A disposable razor is designed so that the entire thing, handle and all, is meant to be thrown away. They are usually very inexpensive and often (but not always) cheaply made.

Electric. Have never shaved manually.

Primarily a Safety Razor, but I also have a twin blade cartridge unit I use sometimes.

since i got an electric razor, i never looked back. its just way more convenient, i can just get the razor under my drawer right now and begin shaving while on youtube and just check the mirror when im done just to make sure its all good. i had my first razor for 5 years and never really cleaned it, just took off the hairs, but still does its job. its still alive and kickin, i still use it to shave my balls once every 2-3 months.

Tried a few a while back, the ones with the 3 bladed cartridges are nice, but hella expensive, so I use the womens BIC disposable ones

For shaving my face, I generally use a Colonel Ichabod Conk razor. It's solid metal and it takes the older Trac-II compatible double-blade cartridges.

For body shaving, I use either the Venus Ultra Smooth or the Venus Comfort Glide. The Comfort Glide is a 3-blade cartridge and has a big blob of gel on either side so it is extremely well lubricated, but it wears out incredibly fast. The Ultra Smooth has 5 blades and lasts about 3-4 times longer, but it doesn't seem to shave quite as smoothly, despite the name.

Just an electric razor to trim my beard every 3 months.

I have had a full beard for 20+ years.

Dollar 25 Cent Tree has decent disposables.

electric clippers; not even a whole shaver... just the clippers/trimmers or whatever you wanna call them

I got a free cartridge razor in the mail when I was 18 from Gillette and have been replacing the cartridges on it ever since. I get cheaper brand now, but the handle itself still works.

Electric razors do not work for my face. They do not get close enough to do anything. Although, I do use the one I have for my nose and anything long enough that needs to be hacked down enough for the manual razor.

I trim periodically with electric clippers. I can't shave because no matter what products or methods I use, I always wind up getting terrible razor bumps the next day.

Same with me, I can't shave unless I have enough to cut through or I just tear up my face really bad. I try to keep the neckbeard clean because it annoys me, but I've gotten comments that it "looks liked I tried to hang myself"

That might mean that you're cutting against the grain of your hair. Doing that gets you a closer shave than cutting with the grain but is much more likely to cause irritation.

for my face I do a quick pass with an electric razor most days and a more thorough job with a safety razor once every few days. For most of my body hair I use a disposable razor
