I'd been using gel for a while but given the thinning of my hair it's just been looking awful. Went to the Supercuts this weekend for a trim and the stylist recommended hairspray instead of gel. She spritzed me with some Paul Mitchell and it seemed to do the trick. All I'm really looking for is hold. Just curious if anyone is dealing with it similarly. --- CyricZ He/him http://twitch.tv/cyricz42 ... Copied to Clipboard!

If it's just thinning around the crown and not an actual bald spot then boldify products (or a competitor) might suffice. I started thinning around the crown a couple years ago so I cut my hair shorter now and apply a little bit which blends well. If that actually becomes a bald spot I'll likely just start buzzing it, or consider scalp micro pigmentation. I'm 40 so I'm happy I made it this far with what I've got on my head. --- Advice from a dryer: Open the door to amazement. Don't shrink from your true calling. Accept life's wrinkles. Avoid overload.
