I know weve got some fans and collectors here. What do you have that you love? Whats coming out that youre looking forward to? And so on and so on

I think Im all Legod out for the year, I definitely need to cut back on spending. I have to double check to see if anything else Ive got my eye on is ending production this year, but I think Im all caught up lol.

It just came out, so Im not in a rush, but I really cant wait to get the Black Pearl. I hope they do more Pirates of the Caribbean sets.

I want to try to get the pyramid set. I also have two sets left of this Star Wars collection I am after.

I need to slow down on buying Lego, but that new Minecraft micro scale set has me wanting.

Wow, it's crazy how good that Minecraft set looks at that scale.

Slightly off topic, but has anyone here tried Lumibricks? I just found out about them and they look really good to me. Do they build well, and do they look as good in person as they do on a screen?

i also have something like 30-40 boxes unopened in the attic >_>. A lot of them are smaller sets I bought for my kids or niblings for Christmas and future gifts though

I keep forgetting I have a bit of a backlog. Been so busy lately, and I keep unopened sets in a closet so out of sight out of mind lol.

Same here. I tried building a Starfleet style ship out of my Star Destroyer. I wish I had more pieces. Ran out of parts to hold up the nacelles.

kids have been getting really into it lately. Even our little one (1.5) loves stacking blocks putting hats on minifigs, and especially playing with the interactive Mario. Older one (4) has been getting more creative lately

I got the VTOL Heavy Cargo Spaceship.

I built the ship. But I messed up a very early step which meant I couldn't rotate the VTOL Engines like you're supposed to be able to. I was dumb and threaded this long crossbar through the holes in a gear instead of through the cross-hole in the middle of the gear, so it wasn't engaged properly.

So I stripped it down to rebuild it.
Fucked up the loading arms the second time. So they wouldn't stay retracted, it would automatically just extend.

Messed up the landing gear the third time... Somehow I got the retracting/extending bar on the *top* of the build instead of inside the hull of the ship. That was actually a very easy fix. However, I put everything away to work on it another day. And then my wife did some deep cleaning and vacuuming... And now I'm missing several pieces I need to fully attach the second side landing gear to the ship.

I just went on the website to order the replacement pieces... they say there's an 8-10 week wait time. But they also didn't charge me for anything. Just... fuck. I had it built and then just because of one stupid mistake now I can't finish it for another couple of months.

I feel bad because I think I used the website to order parts that were just outright missing from the set. They weren't missing from the set, I just lost them -.- I know Lego can eat the cost but I still like to do things honestly ya know

I've also heard sometimes official Lego shops sell pieces. There's a Lego shop kinda close to me but idk, maybe I should call ahead?

Lego stores have pick a brick walls which will have like, 150 different bricks you can by by the box

Depending on how rare the pieces youre missing are, you might be able to see if theres a local Bricks & Minifigs (3rd party Lego stores). They sell bulk Lego by the containerthey have huge bins of of Lego you can dig through to find what youre looking for. But it wont be easy

Oh yeah just looked up pictures of the wall. Looks beautiful. I just remembered I can't go to the mall with my family though we end up getting pulled in five different directions.

Working on the Magical Madrigal House with my kid, this thing is huge. And has more pieces than the Egyptian Pyramid set. And some really cool unique pieces

I got that one back in the day, the Launch Center has this cool little countdown timer mechanism. I missed the rocket production facility set, otherwise I would have collected that entire series.

Myself, I just got https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/ahsoka-tanos-duel-on-peridea-75385 The Ahsoka set is due to be discontinued, so I have been scrambling to find non-scalper places that still carry the sets.

That looks cool for the figures.

Now I'm curious about the countdown mechanism in the other set lol

I just finished the space science lab and there's something wrong with me because I lost the sticker sheet somewhere so for the final bag I couldn't apply the last three stickers -_- I am sure it's around somewhere but like I always try to put sticker sheets back in the manual envelope when I'm done so idk where it went.

Maybe it is, but not sticking out so you can't see it. I hope you find it. I just recently started LEGO again after 20 years and I really hate the stickers.

I dont think thats true at all. There are lots of super easy 18+ builds simply because theyre meant to be display pieces, or because thehre targeting like millennial nostalgia or whatever

this one specifically doesnt make any sense because it looks like it has play functionality and is part of a series that is still relevant to kids of today. No reason to be an 18+ other than marketing

It's a good set. I managed to grab the entire Ahsoka series, only 4 sets in total.
