Yeah that was the part that I meant. I asked about Ben separately since that was almost immediately evident to me when I reread topic 3.

Granted Ulti is prone to being deceived by flattery and people telling him what he wants to hear (in the case of mafia that they believe he is town) so someone taking a hard "ulti is town" approach especially in light of his normal claimsanity could be viewed as an attempt to pocket Ulti

Wallz I do have a question for you.

Why did you suggest a special on FD specifically? I am aware that the Isquen lynch, your claimed preference, was not going anywhere at the time. You also did not want to lynch Mzero or Ulti, the two players with momentum. But FD seems to be namedropped out of nowhere.

Another Isquen data point - "This is ALSO why I'm waiting on Red to hurry up and prove his vigilance, because I very much would like him to die if he doesn't."

This is the last time he mentioned Red, Red wasn't mentioned at all in him wanting to lynch me, Ulti, Wallz, Mzero or Corrik. I feel like this is a result of scum saying 'dang we can't go after Red now', because surely town Isquen wouldn't believe me as a reason to not go after Red anymore. You'd think he'd at least accuse me of covering for my scummate or something, were any of them real opinions.

Its also just hitting me how weird it is that Ben kept sharing updated votals without ever moving his vote off mzero. I know this was discussed but now its feeling weird to me.

FD was knocked for seeming secretarial but Ben basically didnt participate in the lynch. He didnt take a side even on a tie lynch. I wouldnt mind Ben answering for that. He was around.

By the time I "realized" it was a tie I didn't feel confident enough myself to make the judgement call and would rather have let it go to tie so we could have final discussion and see who pulls the trigger. Generating more content around those two was my ideal outcome. BEFORE THAT, I was just too preoccupied trying to count votes and read everything to even make any other posts, and my only concern was counting to see who I needed to vote to save Ulti. The timing of it all ended up with me not doing anything.

I think almost everyone wants to kill either Isquen or Mzero today and you're not gonna get pushback on them this game regardless of their alignment.

Its decidedly more anti-Isquen at the moment tho.

Anyways Lea made a steamed ham reference during one of her moments of pique. Surely, surely she wouldn't go for the low hanging fruit of meme potential as an improv queen unless she was trying to gamble a fake claim off safelist down the road.

Isquen can you also re-explain why you voted lea? Was it because you thought she was trying to breadcrumb Skinner?

Yeah, I'm amazed at the hypocrisy of it all. I go away because I'm pissed and need to cool down, and the inactive scum goes to rest on their laurels. For someone who was yelling in post-game a few goes back about :clap: stop :clap: giving :clap: inactives :clap: free :clap: passes :clap: (or something like that), Corrik has said a whole lot of nothing for almost two days straight now.

I hope when the noose falls on me anyway and I flip town that each and every one of you actually tries to analyze what ISN'T being said instead of what IS.

Yesterday was a scum scum tossup, Lea not actually a cop but knows Red to be innocent, bussed to gain town cred and dodge the stronger role, fourth one tbd but probably just wallz with perspective slipping on day 1 that FD pointed out, as I see no world in which Ulti+Wallz is town town. Not changing my vote, not saying anything else today. See you in DTC if I bother joining it.

In hindsight I should have pressed Mzero while he was here. But now that will have to be day3's concern.

So two things:

1) Regarding role meta stuff, I'm not very familiar with the Simpsons, especially my character. Based on what Sultan wrote in the flavor, my character fits the role very well, and the renamed role portion of it seems like it's quite fitting for the character, but I wouldn't say that the renamed part matches the function of my role. Not directly, at least, but idk you could make the argument one way or another. The renamed part of my role uses a word I've never seen before, so I'm just going purely off the dictionary definition lol

2) I'm a dummy and committed to playing Tekken tonight, completely forgetting that tonight is EoD. Here are my thoughts:

I get the feeling Isquen is town, but I'd feel stupid if he's scum and we don't lynch him today. He seems to be a focal point for everyone at this point in time for understandable reasons, so unless new information pops up, it's probably for the best if he gets lynched.

Going into the end of the day, Wallz is on my highest town read so far, followed by Ben. FD is up there somewhere, too.

I'm a tad skeptical of Lea's scanning power, but I'm not gonna advocate lynching a power role right now, especially with no counterclaim. Ulti isn't definite town, either, but he's definitely not high on my lynch priority at the moment.

I do think JC should full claim. Lea brought up an excellent point that JC's role self-resolves but there's never been an update on that.

I have an extremely difficult time reading Death. I did like his EoD analysis, but I've also seen him pull that off as scum.

And then I don't think I have anything noteworthy for anyone else. It's gonna be a slow day, we're naturally gonna be complacent given that we shut down scum on the first lynch and traded in a vanilla in return. Odds are likely we're gonna lynch town today, but I'd be very pleased to be wrong.

... Oh hey Isquen is here. Disregard everything I just said. I assumed he wasn't gonna return, but now we can actually get some new info and have a discussion

Well all we got so far is that he claimed Vanilla.
Which is still better than not having a claim, so I thank you for that Isquen.

Well, Vanilla isn't very exciting but it does check out with everything else I could glean from Isquen's flavor claim.

I'm torn because I want to lynch Mzero in general, but I don't really want to reward Isquen's "I would rather have a tantrum than answer anyone's questions and I am extremely PISSED OFF you aren't lynching people more inactive than me" tactic. I think it's a tactic anyway, because otherwise the jump from mild suspicion to extreme rage is very unpleasant.

Like Lea I'm baffled by some of the things Isquen said (things I asked questions about that he could answer though), and the problem is, I've been here before in games when Isquen ends up being town.

Not sure if there is much room to find town in him though especially if he is signing off. The only one who can save isquen is himself.

And I'm still not exactly sure how the slip that Changmas pointed out isnt a slip, unless Isquen has an explanation for that. If Isquen is skinner then why would he think Lea is trying to breadcrumb Skinner?

Oh yeah Mzero is my non-Isquen choice too

I dont even know what to say about Mzero, except that I feel like he's only ever talked about himself.

On principle I am against leaving a vote on Mzero. Tho even if I did stay up til deadline, I know he wont show up to claim.

Isquen, I had a lot of room to give the benefit of the doubt but your random Ulti vote and refusal to engage is making it hard to give the benefit of the doubt.

if we end up losing an (uncooperative) vanilla then so be it

the thought process behind his whole set of breadcrumbs and such doesnt make very much sense. to me it reads like he was trying to set up a bolder power claim and then realized it wasnt going to work.

if town he should seriously rethink the pro-town value in a town vanilla breadcrumbing/encoding their own flavor 900 posts into the game because it logically makes zero sense to do so. at least when ulti and Ben do weird stuff when theyre vanilla they pretty much always do it Day 1 Page 1 first or maybe second post so you dont have to go searching for a needle in a haystack

You know, I was just thinking about chang's vote on Corrik at EoD D1. Doesn't make much sense if Ulti is town, but it's something worth noting if Ulti flips scum.
