Meet them every day? Just verbal greeting. Meet them less often? Hug. We hug a lot in Sweden. But just hugging wasn't an option in your stupid poll.

I don't have any friends, but I think a wave and a verbal greeting is plenty.

I just sort of show up and nod. If they greet me back with much more, I look at them like they're stupid.

I go in as if I am ready to do the hand slap hug thing but I give em a quick jab in the stomach after the hand slap
If I see them often, usually a verbal greeting and quick hand shake. If it's been a while then a verbal greeting and the handshake hug thing.
