Yeah I don't think anybody is saying that Hershey's chocolate tastes exactly like every ingredient of vomit with no extra ingredients.
Kinda like nobody thinks Tom Hanks and Bill Murray are completely indistinguishable, even though they do look sorta similar.
You're wrong, there are a lot of people on the internet who really don't like Hershey chocolateHell I don't like Hershey's chocolate, and I can understand where the vomit thing is coming from.

pretty sure people who say shit like "hershey's chocolate tastes like vomit" are the same kind of people who say "pineapple doesn't belong on pizza"
It just tastes like chocolate. No clue what kind of vomit these people have that tastes like that
People get so dramatic about food. If you dont like hershey chocolate, thats valid. It does not taste like vomit tho

This. People get dramatic over chain pizza places too.Yeah pizza snobbery is some of my least favorite. I prefer some pizza chains over others, but at the end of the day its still the fast food equivalent of pizza.
No, you guys are just used to it.acidic flavor does not automatically mean vomit though
It definitely does have a suggestion of acidic flavor.
acidic flavor does not automatically mean vomit though
just say it has acidic flavor instead of saying vomit if thats what you taste
I literally taste vomit. So does my wife.tell your wife to stop eating vomit
they pretend root beer, which is vile, doesn't taste like mouthwash.lmao
It absolutely does have a slight vomit taste. Nobody is saying it tastes exactly like it.i hate food snobbery
Americans pretending they don't notice it is almost as cringe as when they pretend root beer, which is vile, doesn't taste like mouthwash.
acidic flavor does not automatically mean vomit thoughBut in this case, since we know that the acid is butyric acid, which is also a byproduct of digestion, that explains why some people think it tastes like vomit.

Stop kink shaming.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J44svaQc5WYYep, came in to post this. Actually thought this is what this topic was going to be about. Supposedly the manufacturing process that Hershey's uses produces butyric acid, which is the distinctive tasting/smelling acid in vomit. So if that's the case, then it's not really hyperbole or snobbery. It's just a taste you grow accustomed to if Hershey's is the main chocolate you eat, and you likely associate that flavor much more with chocolate than vomit. But people not used to it will pick up on it immediately

Hershey chocolate has a taste reminiscent of vomit.

It's just low quality milk chocolate. It's fine.Low quality American style*. The rest of the world produces milk chocolate in a different way so it does not produce butyric acid.
