what?
Magic: The Gathering (MTG) is not typically considered a Gacha game. MTG is a collectible card game (CCG) where players build decks using cards from various sets, each containing different gameplay mechanics and strategies. While there is an element of randomness in opening booster packs to obtain new cards, MTG primarily focuses on strategic gameplay rather than the randomized character acquisition model commonly found in Gacha games.
If Magic stops making cards tomorrow, I can still play it with my friends. I can even play Magic in ways that Wizards of the Coast doesn't approve of. If I'm done with the hobby, I can sell my cards. Wizards of the Coast cannot lie about the rates at which different rarities of cards appear. These are all fundamental differences from gacha games.
None of that is true for MTGO or Arena if they shut down the servers tomorrow.Good thing I'm not talking about those games
Marjorie Taylor Greene would be the absolute worst gatcha pull.

Gachas can also be TCGs. See: HearthstoneThat's true. Which basically proves my point that they aren't always gachas.
