They were apparently showing videos in Iran of him getting off a plane and claiming he was well. It was quickly discovered it was a video from earlier in the year. I dont think you go to that much trouble if hes still alive.

The supreme leader is the only person with real power. The president is just a guy people get to elect. He can't actually do anything the supreme leader doesn't approve of.

They most likely flied into it and the pilot decided to land because it is unsafe to fly in it.
Probably didnt see the ground and one side hit ground before the other (cliff? rock?) which made the helicopter flip.

When I was in the Navy every deployment we went on there was a helicopter crash in our group. Every few months in the Navy Times you would read about a helicopter crash. Ive seen too many stories in the civilian world involving helicopter crashes.

Its most often human error or weather related than actual mechanical failure but I just dont trust them. Its the one piece of machinery I just refuse to be in. The only way Im riding in one is if Im being air lifted from a wreck in a life saving situation to the hospital.
