Nintendo said "It's our turn to say something utterly tone deaf*!"
Guys, Nintendo has always been one of the greediest video game companies out there. Are yall new to the gaming world? Have you guys just been so loyal to the company that you've gave a blind eye for Nintendo until now?Right?
Nintendo does this because they know that you'll buy their stuff regardless.Correction. They know parents will buy it regardless.
They've used the same strategy in the past, just without the negative pr. They supported the NES into the SNES's life cycle, GB into GBA, Wii into WiiU.
Though, I doubt they're going to continue to actually support the Switch in the same way considering they're barely producing games for it at this point.
Honestly there is nothing wrong with what was said.
If you can't afford this, then our other console still has games coming out for it.

Honestly there is nothing wrong with what was said. There's nothing wrong with what Microsoft said either. If you don't like always online, just stay on the Xbox 360.

Its still Sony. Their games going on sale more because people are less interested in them doesnt override them doing pretty much everything worse. Nintendo is doing some dumb shit though.
Nintendo is releasing a console more geared towards the high end of the market
Moot point because tariff war. They said the price wasn't based on tariffs, they're legitimately just charging PS5 prices for it lol
Reminds of when PS3 $600 price tag was revealed. I swear Ken Kutaragi said something similar.

Well I was still gonna buy one despite my complaints but they can fuck off now. If they wanna tell me what to do with my money they can go ahead and not have it lmao
WhatIf a company wants to outright treat people like shit at a product launch they do not deserve my money. Very simple.
Possibly the least surprising heel turn in history.
Check the news. No preorders available here or Canada even.UK is taking them still.

"If it's too expensive, we have other options" is literally all they said. It's telling a lot of people what to do. It's telling a lot of people they don't care if their new product sells to treat those people like that.
How is that "telling you what to do with your money"
It's telling a lot of people what to do. It's telling a lot of people they don't care if their new product sells to treat those people like that.
WhatOffering the original Switch, which was dated at the time of launch and will receive none of the games they've shown aside from ones already on the or announced years before is a bad move. As a formerly homeless person, people telling lower income folks they don't deserve something new is a touchy spot.

I owe Nintendo no loyalty, they don't deserve my money, and the talking point they chose un-sold them a console. Easy enough with every detail spelled out?
