obviously not right now. The Pixel Remastered versions are still not that old. But like at some point would you like that? Maybe in 10 years

I would have strongly preferred that over the pixel remasters. I don't care much for pixel graphics.If they do the HD2D, I might actually get them.

Yes, but I would be satisfied if they only did it with 6.

If not HD-2D for 6 than something like the Romancing SaGa 2 remake would be cool too.

It depends on which style, the HD-2D done by DQ team is a lot easier on the eyes than whatever nonsense Octopath/Triangle Strategy is doing.

But also no, I even think the pixel remasters look bad, all that effort to make the games look 10x more dull than their originals.

The pixel remakes are great, I don't think they particularly need HD-2D remakes.

Would have preferred it to the pixel remasters but i wouldn't pick them up if they did em now. Most of the PR was my first time through the games and im fine with it being my last as well.

The original 5 did get released in the Final Fantasy Anthology PS1 which also included FF6.

The port was complete shit tho. Much worse than FF2 SNES I don't really have another frame of reference to compare it to.

They should really be doing all NES/SNES FF games in the 2D HD remaster style. Look at the success DQ is having and theyre also the most respectful remakes they can get.

If theyre not making them right now, SQ deserves to go bankrupt.

I like the art style of the Pixel Remasters more personally. I wish DQ 1-6 would have gotten the Pixel Remaster treatment instead lol.

I dont think we need newer versions of FF 1-6 anytime soon to be honest. Id rather see some more obscure SNES-era games like Bahamut Lagoon, Treasure of the Rudras, or Secret of Evermore get re-released (either straight ports like the Collection of Mana and Collection of SaGa for the Switch, HD2D remakes, or something along the lines of the Pixel Remasters).

It depends on what else is changed/added to make it a new experience. If they're just the same games with an updated presentation then I'm not interested in that.
