Precisely why I think Gran Turismo is boring, and why I'm surprised it finished first. I much prefer games that are wild and unrealistic to an experience I can get by hopping in my own car and driving.

Difference is random people on the street will know who Lara Croft/Tomb Raider is. Metroid, Horizon, Portal,...that's gamers only.

Well that's stupid.
I mean it technically wasn't but Mario Kart 8 Deluxe came out like a month after the Switch which is close enough to the window for me to consider it a launch title.
And apparently Granblue Relink is blowing them both out of the water. Didn't expect that!
8 remake doesnt seem like it wouldve been more work than a 7 remake so that just feels silly to me. 8 is the remake I wanted most before they even started remakes.
People don't truky care if not all characters or tracks are in Mario Kart. It's easier with that.
