I included the second option because a good idea is still a good idea, even if conveyed through less than perfect spelling and grammar. But it is undoubtedly important.

3DSRage posted... Though hey, I just saw the video. They obviously blocked it because it is a Zelda clone.
paperwarior posted... Erm, Nintendo doesn't generally block clones of their games from their platforms, do they? Blatant ripoffs, maybe. Okami is pretty heavily based on 3D Zelda and it was still published on Wii.
Hello? Nintendo didn't invent neither the 2D, nor the 3D adventure genre. Zelda isn't some forefather of gaming like many would like you to believe. Just because it served as one of many inspirations for Okami doesn't mean Okami is "pretty heavily based" on it. For all the similarities, Okami is VASTLY different from Zelda.

I agree to some extent, but Fitz still had a lot to him without Nighteyes. A lot of the time, the story was really successful at putting me in Fitz' shoes. At certain times, I condemned his choices and thought I would have made different ones... The story of The Catalyst and how one person can make all the difference in the world is inspiring.

My girlfriend's favourite book series (the hexalogy, I mean). I've also read them. She's also read Liveship Traders, but I'm not really interested in that one. Can't say I feel that strongly about Fitz, but I do think he's quite awesome, as are those around him. It's an amazing world Hobb has crafted. The characters' ambitions and fears, the feeling of despair at certain times... Very well done. Certain things, especially around the resolution of the whole story, were just a tad too convenient, but I have to say these six are among the best books I've ever read.

DeathChicken posted... Tower of Babel is literally one of the best dungeons in gaming.
You must enjoy platform hopping in your RPGs, in which you can't see where you're jumping due to the camera being awful, random encounters every few steps, those random encounters triggering *in the middle of the platform jumps*, and a falling ledge puzzle near the top of the dungeon just to make certain that you end up slogging through the entire godawful place at least twice

Bellis yet again proving I've been right about him all along... "Nice" if you sing him praises, vile and crazily overreacting if you send the tiniest bit of criticism his way.
One day, you will learn to listen to me...

DeathChicken posted... 5/10. I'm playing through it again now. The random encounter rate is way the hell too high, the dungeons are all terrible (hi, Tower of Babel), you aren't afforded any freedom, the game is pretty much a straight rail of cutscene-cutscene-awful dungeon-maybe a town if you're lucky, but probably not-cutscene. The story is nice, but that's all it has

This is ridiculously bad, it's embarrassing that people that think that way actually exist. Comparing legal murderers to Jesus Christ is a travesty of language.
Two wrongs don't make a right.

Rad Link 5 posted... From: Vlado | #001 Instead of having a potentially interesting discussion, I guess we should instead create gay marriage topic #23562352 and repeat ourselves some more. The mods are ridiculous. Did you know they told me you're not allowed to convey the idea that you would ever, under any circumstances real or hypothetical, commit murder?
So any "Would you kill a man who broke into your home," etc, topics you see? Could be moderated if marked.
Wasn't the new policy supposed to help in cases like this?
