Dead people are also a part of this consciousness.
That was actually the entire point of Gendo's plan in Evangelion, too. He wanted his dead wife back so he was going to merge all of humanity, past and present, into one consciousness. It's pretty much the exact same plan.
Tobi's plan is a bit different since it's just mind control on a massive scale, but the Curly and Gendo's plan is essentially a completely different form of living. Life as we know it would completely end.

They were going for the "going to combine all of mankind into one consciousness" plan. It's not that uncommon, it was Gendo's plan in Evangelion and it's Tobi's plan in Naruto.
Lelouch rejected that plan for the exact same reasons everyone always rejects that plan. Free will disappears if you are no longer yourself.
Actually, that's what the Borg are too. Nobody wants to be assimilated!

Supremacy and Ultimatum were purely some random guys deciding they want to pick a fight with Bourne for no reason with their jacked up super soldiers again and Bourne being all tired of their **** and kicking ass until he finds them and tells them to knock that **** off. Sure it was cool but..... it was all pretty pointless. Especially since they just did it again in the third movie, exactly like the second. And they undid the ending of Identity like 10 seconds into Supremacy just so they could do exactly what I described.
I will admit the action and stuff improved in Supremacy and Ultimatum, but without the plot of Identity to hold it together, it really was just a cash in.

Like, Supremacy and Ultimatum were practically the same movie. Bad guys bein bad guys controlling the media and Jason Bourne bein all "ima come get you"
Sure they were fun and I enjoyed them... but they were just cash ins with no real plot and don't belong at the top of any "best' list.

Wow, after reading that pathetic little drivel you spouted about episode 20 I don't think you should continue watching. You don't deserve to see Code Geass' masterpiece ending.

A mass movement with no leaders has no responsibility to have a specific platform. Unlike the Tea Party, this is a truly grassroots movements that more or less spontaneously happened.
Well, it's true that they don't HAVE to have a specific platform.
Of course, without any idea what they are doing they will accomplish absolutely nothing. If they don't know what they want then what is anybody suppose to do about it?

I really have no idea what this movement wants to do. EC has a great point here. Yeah these people have great sounding ideals; end income inequality! take power away from the evil corporations and investors! or whatever.
But how exactly do they want to do this? What do they want to replace the current economic environment with?
You guys mock the way that SmartMuffin throws the word "communist" around at people he disagrees with, and it does make him look silly a lot of the time. But these people are clearly against the way that a free market works. So.... what's the alternative? They don't seem to be defining that at all. But you know what the alternative actually is? Communism.

Is Masters the girl with the big moral attitude and a determination to always tell the truth? I haven't watched House in a long time, I think I only saw one or two episodes of her when she first appeared.... but she was pretty hot. And a pretty interesting foil for House.
Does she get really bad later or something?

I don't know anything about the situation, but they said the law was passed in California in 1996 allowing this and just now the federal government is pulling rank on it out of nowhere? Was there any warning?
The federal government overruling the state is one thing but from that article it sounds like.... they just up and decided "yeah we don't like that thing you've been doing for 15 years stop it immediately"

I suppose it's possible for fluoride in water to be bad for you and that vaccinations cause cancer, sure, whatever.
But it seems like some of you actually believe that the highly organized upper class instituted fluoride in water and the concept of vaccinations.... to kill us all or something.
What the **** is wrong with you.

LazyKenny posted... Simpsons has needed to die for a long time, but this article is just crap. What kind of actor suggests a pay cut for himself?
It's not uncommon at all for an actor to take a smaller guaranteed salary in exchange for a piece of the profits the show will earn in syndication or merchandise. For example, Jon Cryer from Two and A Half Men is taking a far smaller salary for this year than Ashton Kutcher, who is new to the show. But unlike Ashton, he's expected to make many times what Ashton is going to get in his new deal from what the show will rake in from syndication later on.

I was working at a KFC this summer and practically everyone there smoked. Even like, the 15-16 year olds. I was just like, what the hell, these are CHILDREN. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE WORLD.

I don't know if it'll always matter. But the only serious relationship I've ever had, it just couldn't work out because she was so into her religion and I was so into not being into my religion. I've had less serious relationships where it didn't matter but.... that could easily be because it just never got to a stage where it did matter.
