I actually liked this episode, Q is awesome, Riker is cool, I thought the plot in Farpoint was pretty good, though the idea of those guys controlling the super energy monster is kinda sketchy. Patrick Stewart is definitely carrying this show at this point in acting.
EP 3: The Naked Now Lame episode, Icehawk is right about the crew "acting intoxicated" doesn't mean much if we haven't seen them "not act intoxicated."
EP 4: Code of Honor Oh god these weird tribal guys want Yar I'm not even going to watch this episode.
Actually, I'm kind of a Star Trek fan already, I've seen tons of TNG and TOS episodes, though I've seen way more of DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise. DS9 is my favourite, Voyager and Enterprise are terrible. I've never watched all of TNG before though, so I figured I'd watch it from the beginning. I've never actually seen these first 4 episodes, so I guess this is worth it. How funny I'd find this topic going right now!
*minor spoilers about Data* It's funny to me how weird Data acts. He's laughing and smiling all the time in these last 3 episodes when he just magically gets retconned to not be able to laugh later >_>

I remember I was in religion class once (which is basically brainwashing us to be devout christians) and the teacher was basically like "so I heard that some schools are trying to only teach creationism....LOL"

Well it's really up to the hosts discretion. You don't ever want a modkill to benefit the players team, but it's really unfair if an absolutely dreadful player signs up that isn't even taking the game seriously and gets himself modkilled by being dumb. The town just lost a player and also lost the whole day, which can be very bad for them.
In Newbie 8 for example, Murnane got himself modkilled in a stupid way and the host decided to keep the day going because that would just have been totally unfair to town to just end the day on that.

To be honest, I've never really liked my full username. CoolCly. Why is that Cool even there, it makes me look pretty pretentious. Like I'm some sort of big deal.
I'll tell you why it's there! Like 10 years ago when I was looking for an internet handle, I put the first thing I thought of that fit with Cly! Which was Cool! CoolCly! But I really hate it. Yet any time I sign up for something, that's what I use, since Cly is just too short.
Why do I have to use Cly? Well, it's actually a nick name that people call me in real life, ever since I was like 11 years old (which was 11 years ago, mods, I'm 22!) The story of how I got it is pretty meh. But I love that nickname, and it works great for an internet personality. But it's just too short for account names! In all these years I've never been able to come up with something that fits better with Cly than what I have. And I hate that!
So Board 8, how can I reinvent Cly into an all purpose username to use everywhere? I'm sitting at twitter staring at what to put in there for a username. I don't want to use my real name, but I think Cly would be great. But CoolCly would be dumb. I may end up just giving up on jumping on the twitter train. Maybe it'd be for the best.

So you are going to work early in the morning because it's... "hanging out with your friend".
Still really dumb.
But then why are you buying them all that stuff from Walmart that could potentially get your mom in big trouble (maybe even fired?)
Everyone I've known that used discounts at a big store like that for the purpose of big purchases to resell did not have happy endings with that big store.

I get that people don't want to give up driving (I DEFINITELY don't), but... it really would be best if we all cut back on how much we rely on it.
It's not an attack on individual liberty to discourage driving through city design unless you also think big highways that you can't get through by walking / biking are also an attack on individual liberty.

Pfft, Pinkie Pie didn't improve? I can't understand how you can not like her antics. She is clearly insane, and the other ponies all know it. That's what makes her so loveable.
BonetaiI posted... RainbowFool posted... Fluttershy is soooo overrated, people only like her because she's anime moe. Her flutterage episodes are pretty good but other than that, meh.
Also seconding this from what I've seen.
I still like her, but I'm hoping she'll get some episodes of her own later to expand on her character a bit. Right now it's all blushing and tildes after everything she says.
I do like her voice though. I don't know what else her actor did so it doesn't sound familiar, but I like it.
Fluttershy is actually voiced by the same person that does Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash and Applejack also share a voice actress.

Well it's a team game, you can obviously play a perfect game and still lose. It's like playing a Dota game. You can play the best a player can absolutely play, but still lose if your team is just that dumb and your opposition played well too.
The problem with this is that everybody tends to think they were the only ones who played perfectly and the loss is in no way their fault when it's rarely actually the case >_>
