I mean, I could kind of understand the desire for remakes if the originals weren't readily available.
But they're both on Virtual Console! Majora's Mask remake is probably more needed than ALttP remake, just choosing between those two. AT LEAST there's a minuscule amount of merit to modernizing its graphics (same goes for FFVII). Sprite games that look as good as ALttP just aren't worth the effort. Aside from the fact that Vince McMahon was in WAY too many segments, I actually enjoyed Raw last night. It wasn't their best show of the year by any means, but at no point did I actually want to leave the room early. I'm curious if we're going to have a running theme of 'old Raw Main Eventer' squashing Heath Slater (or at least a jobber) each week. If so, I hope they bring in different people we haven't seen a thousand times before. No, certainly Raw wasn't HORRENDOUS or anything, but it really feels like nothing matters. Dolph is #1 contender but by this time NEXT WEEK he'll be midcard again, we have ANOTHER instance of people trying to fire Laurinaitis but yet giving him a way out which is just silly to be happening AGAIN, and no one in the midcard beyond the IC/US Title angles has any direction at all. They just exist. Contrast that to, say, TNA where yeah they have some awful stuff, certainly a couple things more awful than anything WWE is doing right now, but everything they put on their show matters. It's true though. You can't get invested in ANYTHING WWE does because it'll probably mean nothing a few weeks from now.
It's like a weird bizarro version of Russo booking. Russo angles are convoluted and ridiculous and happen WAY too fast but they're generally meaningful. Also, talent scout and talent relations are two different things. Talent Relations (i.e. Laurinaitis's old(?) job) deals with talent that's already signed as a go-between from them to upper management.

The whole outside personal data storage thing is a blessing and a curse.
On the one hand it's great because no one has to pay for any more storage than they actually want. Finally I can get some good use out of my 1TB external hard drive. Yes, I do.
They never forced anyone to use the DS touch screens. They never forced anyone to use motion controls. The reason mainline games didn't get ported to the Wii is not because of some incompatible mandate from Nintendo that you MUST use motion controls, but because the hardware just couldn't match the 360 and PS3.
