Why would he care, he can go to one of the 5 other liquor stores if he's rejected.
This isn't high school, its not like they'll be awkward moments between him and the freaking liquor girl.
no man that makes it worse. if this girl sees him patronizing another liquor store it'll be doubly awkward - store loyalty now comes into the equation.
the only solution for him now is to never see this girl again, for then he will be safe.
lol I have a feeling you had a horrible incident between you and a girl you liked
nah man. i pump my love juice in every girl i want. this is just common sense thinking here. that's how relations with girls work.

lisel he obviously wants to ask this girl out but he's tentative enough to ask about it on the board. so instead of just going for it he needs to know what lies ahead.
pain. rejection. the realization that if this girl says no that he is a weak man and no girl on the planet would ever be interested in him.
that is what lies ahead.
like they always say, "don't take risks and be afraid of rejection, for it will ruin you."
radiohead killed. every member of the band was on point (after 20 years they'd have to be a well oiled machine) and for the most part I enjoyed the setlist. played a main set and two encores - the three closers were idioteque, everything in its right place and paranoid android. not too shabby.
after radiohead my favorite concert was sbtrkt. this was probably due to the fact that I was rolling. good music though!
other ones of note: the roots, rhcp (was also rolling for those), st vincent, danny brown, beach boys, bon iver were all great. had never heard of white denim before bonnaroo but I really enjoyed that set. only caught the last three songs of tune-yards but they were her three best (gangsta, bizness, my country) and she's a great live performer.
It's interesting that when we talk about evil the example that always comes to mind is Hitler. Who's to say that? There's the Holocaust, but Stalin would have likely targeted the Jews had he lived (there's evidence that supports this) - and neither of those two ever murdered someone himself a la Ted Bundy.
There are no "evil statistics" - it seems too hard to label someone the most evil the way we can say pretty accurately that Michael Jordan was the greatest basketball player ever.
I did that last summer and made about 2.5k through minimal work.
it's a good product and they never have incentive to fire you no matter how much of a lazy s*** you are but the sales atmosphere is really creepy. Worth it if you really need a job but I felt like I sold my soul a little bit after I was done. Out of curiosity are you going to the office near highway 94?
Each different Beatle is different enough stylistically that if you don't have at least a slight preference for one of them you haven't listened to enough Beatles songs.
From: Robazoid | #008 Never actually listened to a Beatles song though, unless it was on the radio in the background somewhere or something
The Beatles were the most important musicians of the 20th century. It's a cultural joy to listen to them.
also people romanticize the past naturally, it's not like this board was leagues better when we were all less mature.
though b8chat has definitely sopped up some of the social activity here. so has the decline in popularity of text based walkthroughs (why people come to gfaqs in the first place) and people leaving b8 to get a job/get a life.
for all you vinylheads out there (icon) - what makes it better than mp3s? I can listen to anything I want in good quality more conveniently through my computer.
haven't listened to the killer mike or el-p albums straight through yet, but I like what I've heard so far!
in other news - i've started listening to drake a little more. take care is pretty good, reminiscent of the weeknd (for good reason!) - and it's interesting that he gets such widespread hate. his music is crafted for a totally different audience than most mainstream hip-hop.
From: 14_and_counting | #006 Well, the show is not any good, so this seems appropriate. NBC bringing it back was *******.
I generally try to be open-minded with people and their opinions but it's stunning to me how you seem to want to actively disagree with every decent opinion out there.
