From: Ayuyu | #024 I wish b8 was a high school, best time of my life, so much fun.
From: Ayuyu | #042 Hmm.. In high school as was barely visible I guess, nobody cared about me except my circle of friends, nobody cared about them either.
so I'm the only one who liked Thundercat's album better than Flylo's?
for those who haven't heard it, it's called the Golden Age of Apocalypse and since Thundercat and Flylo are both on brainfeeder he has a similar sound to flylo, but more jazz-heavy, groovier and more melodic.
a bit more conventional style-wise, but I really dig it.
You feel confident that you are making headway in a difficult and trying time. You feel that the course of action you have chosen is the correct one and therefore the troubles that you encounter will, with effort, be overcome. However there is an ongoing uncertainty which causes you distress, and consequently any criticism whether intentional or not can lead to a sudden and unexpected emotional response. Anger is often quick and abrupt, especially if you happen to be self-centered, which is likely.
You feel unsatisfied with your professional or romantic relationships. There is a sense that others do not have the same high standards, or that circumstances have put you into a position in which your true value is not appreciated. You want to be loved and admired for talent and skill, and if you do not feel either one, anxiety and frustration will lead to a sense of nervousness. You will often feel that emotional release is weakness and this will be frustrating to your sexual relationships. You will often confuse restraint with strength.

Aside: any recs for classical music? I'm looking to explore that whole universe.
Reposted from AIM: This weekend is brown's spring weekend. Since my dorm is on the main green where concerts are held this weekend I get free tickets if the concerts are actually outside since it's a noise violation. The ticket agency f***ed up and didn't send me my tickets. Instead of pestering them until I actually got my ticket, I had the idea that I would get drunk and negotiate with the officers at the gate instead. This did not work out so well. I ended up being sent to the hospital as a makeshift drunk tank. Arguing with cops is a no-no.
From: MRNlCEWATCH | #005 It's hilarious that people continue to deny how strongly video games influence violent behavior
or is it that video games have become the refuge of the unaccepted social incompetent who would be going on violent rampages?
Ted Kaczinsky would have played lots of video games had they been around for him. as it stands he was/is a spergy math genius with nothing else going on
I equate Robin with Rachel, in that they're the "hot" girl characters which allows them to conceal the fact that there's little of substance underneath their exteriors.
Apart from the whole "Canadian tomboy" thing, which mostly manifests itself externally, I don't find a lot to like personally about Robin. Lily has her moments but she is more captivating, and most of the time endearing.
I haven't seen beyond the beginning of Season 5, so my opinions of Barney and Robin are likely subject to change.
