Yeah, I admit, I do enjoy being myself quite a bit. Possibly even more than anyone else here. Is that a bad thing? Quite the opposite - I'm sending a nice message. One must know one's worth and act accordingly. Love yourself and others will love you, as well! If you know you're awesome, if you got the confidence and you believe in your abilities, success is just around the corner. You should never accept any limitations because for you, the sky is the limit. Others matter exactly as much as you want them to. The universe revolves around you!

For some reason, most of the board doesn't embrace this philosophy, hence the bitterness in many people here whenever I display such behaviour. Most believe that this implies being a jerk to others and what not. I prove day in and day out that it is perfectly possible to combine this attitude with kindness towards others. Being aware of your own worth in no way hinders your benevolence. Just because I'm awesome and the centre of the universe doesn't mean I don't want people around me to be happy! Quite the opposite - the happier they are, the more I enjoy my own life!

So yeah, guys. Do not fight it, do not ever feel inferior. Embrace it!

My opinion: An objective measure is good, a subjective one isn't.

I agree with 1, I disagree with 3. Not so sure about 2. Denominations are NOT a good idea, anyway. Especially now that we need different people to nominate something in order for it to be done.

Yeah, you can stop acting like you know anything about me anytime now, Vlado. This doesn't have anything to do with my opinion of LMS as a user.

I'm for a host being neutral, but I'm also for a host doing what's necessary to make this project successful and enjoyable. 15 AoDs about whether Melee is better than Brawl, OoT is better than Super Metroid, Mario World is better than Other M, etc. are not my idea of an enjoyable topic series that's (supposedly) not just about video game discussion. Throwing out bad nominations isn't a lack of neutrality. If you constantly have people de-nomming his nominations every topic, then you should be somewhat proactive about it and deal with it yourself. If LMS stops nominating the same crap over and over again and actually starts nominating other stuff, fine. This doesn't have as much to do with LMS as a user as it does with the fact that he nominates inequalities involving the same 5 Nintendo games over and over again, with slight variation. Nobody finds those enjoyable anymore but him because he's driven them into the ground.

This doesn't necessarily have to be a permanent ban either. You can ban him for a month, a couple weeks, whatever. But some action needs to be taken because you have a decent portion of this topic series' fanbase who is annoyed with it. I've done things I haven't necessarily wanted to do as a contest host because people thought it would make the contest better. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But at the very least, when this many people are complaining, you can't just do nothing.

Who are you to say what nominations are bad and what aren't? If Zach needs to do something, it's limiting the inequality nominations so that only 30% of the queue can be inequalities or something like that.
