How come it's always either "it goes right to the top!" or "no chance of it happening, take your meds"

Like for example with this Boeing thing, isn't it possible an individual went rogue and had the dude whacked to save his own skin?

Rather than it being a carefully orchestrated mob style hit, approved by the higher ups and discussed over lunch in the board room at Boeing HQ

Like even with JFK, there could be one person with some high level inside information who decided to help Oswald on his own. It doesn't necessarily mean the integrity of the entire government is on trial, just that individuals can do wild shit

Yep.

The amount of times ive felt justified enough to "say my piece" only to have the other person be dismissive of it/give an insincere non apology far outweighs the times it's resulted in a productive change

It is nothing to do with 'deserve'. You don't earn companionship as a reward for good behaviour.

It's something that comes when you work on it, put yourself social situations, and persevere.

The word deserve is used by some who viewed others got there without doing the latter paragraph

It's incel as fuck to think it's applicable to the majority, but there are people who were very lucky they were born hot or rich

Or not letting you even work on "deal breakers" that are easily fixable.

Oh there's definitely that aspect too, like there really is a feeling of if you do one thing wrong in the early part of dating it's game over.

Then naturally when you're walking on eggshells all the time you can come across as passive, shy or just generally boring, it's pretty damn frustrating

I do still like the term deal-breaker though more than red flag. It feels more like a personal preference rather than an authoritative vibe like I described

I honestly have to. I can't be pulling the pin over small things, the opportunities are too few and far between. Though I'm a strong believer in nobody's perfect anyway and most red flags are really just dating preferences imo imo

It's really frustrating when the girl is big on therapy speak or less forgiving of your perceived red flags though. I hate the authoritative implication of "red flag", like it's a factual flaw you have to work on

Like imagine having someone point out a red flag of yours without hesitation after you've rationalised, ignored and finally accepted strange behaviour on their part.

Also, I have a memory in high school of this kid who kept sack whacking people at recess (not sure if the US has a different schoolyard term for it, in Australia it's sack whacking) and my mate spent a wood work lesson fashioning nails to a thin bit of wood, then shoved it down his pants

He got himself in a position near the sack whacker at recess, who predictably went for it and hurt his hand lol. Fond memories of that moment

Even a savoury meal? For sweet I definitely agree. Or if you're just thirsty and not hungry.

For something such as a steak, a nice juice or cola seems so much more fitting

*Balsamic vinegar goes amazing on popcorn, the only downside being the texture becoming very soggy

*This one is more a weird quirk, but I can't have chocolate without some milk handy. Chocolate is very rich and makes me thirsty so I need to have something, but milk complements it way better than water, coke, juice etc

3 including tongue, and simply kissed two others.

I've only ever enjoyed it with the girl I'm with now. Before her I thought kissing sucked. I never felt anything, like it did no more for me than kissing my own hand would.

I remember the moment I actually enjoyed a kiss too. Was with a person I really liked obviously

Before that I looked at it as a rather annoying step to sex that girls enjoyed more than me.

I actually have more anxiety kissing than humping, one is way more straightforward and easy in my mind. Too much tongue? not enough tongue? Have we been kissing long enough?

These type of dilemmas don't happen in doggy style

For a long time I thought it would be stupid and a short sighted idea, and prided myself on "owning" my height and always wearing flats. I wouldn't do it on a date or a situation where I'm likely to have to remove my shoes and risk embarrassment, but in a work setting who cares
