I figure most people know eating raw chicken doesn't come close to guaranteeing you'll get salmonella, but the greater than 0 chance is the scary part

Yeah, kinda? I know weddings are expensive, my friend said they spent nearly 10 grand on flower arrangements at their one

I know there's post wedding work for the photographer, editing and picking the good pics from the bad, it still doesn't quite add up as being worth $2k work to me, what I make doing 2 weeks of work

Yeah, it's hard to explain I guess.. I thought it was a little more intuitive than it is maybe

Basically, can you make a team of 6 full of 3 stage evolution Pokemon only stronger than a team of 6 full of 1 stage Pokemon only

Or could a team of 2 stage only be the strongest

$250 for the day is an absolute BARGAIN, my photographer is running around $1700 and that's on the cheap end of photographers

Is that not... Incredibly overpaid considering the work involved? I know there's more to it than point the camera and click... But it's still only a day's work

Is the price so high because it's hard to get many gigs for these guys? Like maybe they only get 2-3 a month to work

If just gen 1, and using gen 1 mechanics

Snorlax
Hypno
Cloyster
Alakazam
Blastoise
Nidoking.

All have varied movesets, and can boost the shit out of their stats due to gen one unintended glitches(badge boosting).

Now if using gen 1 pokemon, with current mechanics it's probably a bit different.

...did you read my post? Lol

Actually that sounds rude maybe I explained it poorly

You can't be mixing up 3 stage evolutions with 1 stage evolutions in this exercise. Eg no Snorlax and Nidoking

Restrictions.

Being able to only use 1 stage evolution Pokemon (Electabuzz, Chansey, Jynx, Lapras etc). No Mew or Mewtwo allowed, one legendary bird allowed

Being able to only use 2 stage evolution Pokemon (Exeggutor, Rhydon, Arcanine, Gyarados etc)

Being able to only use 3 stage evolution Pokemon (Charizard, Poliwrath, Alakazam, Dragonite etc)

Ignore later gen Pokemon that changed things eg Blissey and Igglybuff, just go by gen 1

Yeah this is pretty much my thinking too.

Also explains the Celsius thing, because besides it already making sense, it's just easier to determine temperature at a glance (if it's in the 10s it's very cold, if it's in the 20s it's nice and cool, if it's in the 30s it's considerably warm, if it's in the 40s it's sweltering hot, and 50... you dead)

Yeah. And if it's 0 you know you're not going outside either

25 is also the perfect weather IMO, halfway between 0 and 50

I think the film would have eulogized the Road Runner cartoons. How could you make new shorts about Wile E. Coyote using Acme products to try and catch the Road Runner after making a movie about a lawsuit? Even if they were in different continuities, I think people would be looking at it like it was a settled dispute.

That said, the whole notion of a tax write-off on a movie is terrible. It's literally charging people for a film they're never going to see because that money comes from tax-payers. I agree with the people in the other topic who said that, if you're going to label a property as a write-off, it should automatically be released to the public domain.

Even then, it's still bullshit to think that you deserve money because you wrote film that isn't likely to perform well at the box office. But, at the very least, they should not be able to shelve it and make money off of it.

Were they planning to make new road runner cartoons?

What's surprising to me I'd think usually girls don't want to jeopardize a strong friendship (she literally called you her best friend)by risking casually dating you, which obviously often does not work out

I'd have thought the fact she was the one to ask you out and potentially change the relationship forever, that she'd have been a little more flexible or understanding with one or two awkward moments during the very first time you're affectionate.

Or at least be willing to talk it out. You got the explanation strangers give each other when it doesn't work out

Seems way too fickle and is pretty unfair to you imo. But maybe don't say that last part lol

Sometimes people think they like the idea of dating someone, but it doesn't quite work out for them the way they thought.

The age gap is definitely showing. She's younger, more impulsive, unsettled. You're older, more pragmatic, more of a long term thinker.

But if you ask me, she's right. She's not in the right place to be dating you at the moment.

This. Younger people are more impulsive and fickle.

My biggest dating headaches have been when dating younger girls

The kiss thing just simply would have been more of a non issue with someone older. Sometimes affection for the first time can be little awkward as people try to work each other out and most people understand that. It's not like TC became weird after it she was just expecting a Jack and Rose moment

I feel like with comedy it's ultimately about whether the audience laughs. If you're an entertainer and you're not giving your audience a show they find entertaining it doesn't matter if it's material that killed in 1989 or whenever. You're failing as an entertainer right now.

This is interesting, because a lot of the controversies surrounding comedians in recent years are usually from people who weren't at the show

Dave Chappelle, regardless of whether his jokes are appropriate or not, usually has his audience in stitches
