I've had it since October. Tried many things and it still hasn't gone away. At night, when almost asleep, it goes into my throat and forms a blocking membrane, which makes me gasp awake for air, panting for breath. Almost 3 months of this. Has never happened like this in my life before. Not doing good things for my health anxiety. I think something is seriously wrong with me but everyone just says it's allergies.

I thought it was fantastic.

And I like the preggo girl actress. She played Dora the Explorer and is Hawkgirl in the new Superman!

Yes, and recently. Emily Armstrong, one of my favorite singers, loved her for years from Dead Sara. Learned along with everyone else about her dark side when she became Linkin Park's new singer. Really disappointing.

No, it goes far deeper than that and simplifying things to just that is in no small way why the "righties" have thoroughly won the "culture war".

I've seen some of the clips. She behaves like a holier-than-thou up-herself b-word in them, denigrates and sneers at the original at multiple points, and overall comes off as an extremely entitled whiny young person (which nobody who has ever had harsh real-life experience likes).

People in general greatly overestimate how much power the far right has when it comes to "destroying media". Generally people are in the center when it comes to politics. Sometimes right of center and sometimes left of center, but generally to verge outside the center their life had to give them experiences to believe they need to deviate from the status-quo.

When you see massive stuff like this it's because the people in the center are joining a side, which typically means the "other side" had to monumentally fuck up somewhere. Like the lead actress being that unlikable in interviews and putting people off.

It's not as simple as "everyone who thinks like x is a far right lunatic."

This honestly. It's not just people on the right being mad at a liberal actress or something like that.

It kinda reminds me of the actors for that recent Star Wars show everyone hated. It almost seemed as if they were purposefully trying to make fans of the IP angry. Like, it felt like they relished in stirring the pot and being annoying. That's the same vibes I get from the Snow White actress. It's almost like they don't want people to like the thing they made.

Does she go on a rampage against me? I hope so.

It's expanding faster than the speed of light, and we can't travel that fast, so we'll never be able to reach ahead of expansion.

So I dunno if that one big topic is around but since then I've landed on: the light orbs that have been all over the planet the past few weeks are human tech tests of plasma energy technology. There are literally projects right now going on whose purpose is to create and control plasma in the atmosphere for energy (and most likely weapon) purposes. They're testing them now. It's plasma. Floating in the night sky.

At least that's my crazy theory.

But yeah in case yall didn't know the orange sphere lights are going nuts recently. Like even more than ever.

I'm a firm believer that the Smile movies have terrible trailers. They never made me want to see them and just came off as obnoxious. But because I kept hearing how good it is, I finally watched the first Smile. And it was amazing. Mostly psychological horror and wasn't as annoying as the trailers made it out to be. Lo and behold, I watched the trailer for Smile 2 and it looks terrible. Haven't seen it yet but I will watch it soon, and it'll probably be great. (And yeah, I already pretty much got spoiled on the ending, it's all everyone seems to talk about when the movie is brought up)

I love that actress. Fun fact, she played Jasmine in live action Aladdin. She looks totally different! It's amazing how much hair can make a difference in how people look.

I thought I would be fine here in Texas without it, and for the most part it is fine, there are still many alternatives.

But man I kinda miss it.

I've been kinda having a hard time actually.

I like my sites to be non sketchy and very safe. Right now I just pretty much use the x site with the x's and the n. Which ones do you use? Using hints and riddles if you have to.

Yeah it's tough if you don't have a high nerd level group. I'm very lucky with my group. If I didn't have them there's no way I could play all these games.

My favorite board game right now is probably Gaia Project. I think a new expansion either just came out or will come out very soon.

Newest board game I played is Islebound Emerald Edition which fixes some balance issues of the original and is much better. Released earlier this year.

I've also been big on Ark Nova although it's got this feeling like you're just playing competitive solitaire. Very little interactions with other players.

My favorite is still terraforming Mars. Mainly the original, but the new dice version is fun too. Just needs more cards. I've seen like every single card 10 times by now.

Terraforming Mars is also really good, but I feel like games can run a little long sometimes. Also the people I play against are really good at it (although I did get first place last game!)

No idea because I haven't played yet! Still in the mail. I will say that deckbuilders in general are a good genre of game, especially if you're not burnt out on them. Dominion is the "proto deckbuilder" you can look to as an example.

Basically, everyone starts with the same deck of basic cards that is pretty small. There are weak cards to help you score in this deck, and also "money" cards. So you randomly draw a hand, and do as much stuff as you can with that hand. You want to buy stronger cards from the market with the money you have, and you basically build an "engine" by building your deck, looking for synergy and stuff. So everyone has a different strategy. The appeal is building yourself up and seeing your deck get stronger and stronger.

Mistborn has a unique spin on it by including metal coins that are used to power abilities on cards, and also you have a character board that levels up through the game and gives you new powers as it progresses.

It's not like any of this was purposefully done or anything, I just happened to go nuts on buying board games the past few months. I have a regular gaming group so that helps, but even still, normally I don't buy this many.

A few months ago was Blood Rage, a slightly older game about Vikings and Ragnarok. I love the game but my group wasn't a fan. Going to try it with my brother since he's more of a fan of this style. But anyway, the group believes it's too "take that", too directly competitive, with winner take all battles that leave people behind. The mini figures are SUPERB. Perhaps the best I've ever seen.

Dune: Imperium. Possibly the best board game I've ever played. A Euro combination of worker placement and deckbuilding. It's just plain fun. One of those games where, even when you're losing, you're still having fun because each of your turns is building you up and making you stronger. Everyone loved this one.

Those two were a few months ago. The next batch were like, all within the past couple weeks. And I haven't played any of these with the regular group because they're too new.

Heat: Pedal to the Metal. A racing game, simple to play. You go through your deck of cards and shift gears and play cards to go as fast as you can, but don't go too fast or you'll crash on the turn! I wanted something more easy to grasp and family friendly for when I visit the family.

Mistborn The Deckbuilding Game. It's coming through the mail today! A deckbuilder based on Brandon Sandersons Mistborn books. Looks neat. I get similar vibes to the Cowboy Bebop deckbuilder game, in that it's a deckbuilder with a mechanic twist and based on a property that only I am into in all my social circles. I hope it's good.

Tales of the Arthurian Knights. Coming this friday. Perhaps the game I'm MOST PUMPED for. It's a spiritual successor to Tales of the Arabian Nights, one of my favorite games, except it looks even better, with more logical choices. It's basically a big choose your own adventure. You roll around a map of medieval UK, and every turn you go to an entry in a giant book of tales, and then make decisions and do stat tests. It's one big story telling game. And get this, you can be a LADY KNIGHT and have ROMANTIC RELATIONS with other women including PRINCESSES AND QUEENS.

Those are all the new games, but I've revived MAGE KNIGHT, a game I bought over a decade ago. I only played it a few times then, and while I did get the rules down, I could never truly enjoy it. I have now mastered the rules, and can enjoy the game on a more pure level. And boys, let me tell you, possibly the best board game ever. At least solo board game. It is wildly complex, so do your research before buying. I've got a game setup right now in my living room that I started last night. It's one giant puzzle and very satisfying.

Anyway, let's talk board games. Have you played anything new recently? Any of these? What's your best board games?

Drugs are political now. Ivermectin is a conservative drug. If you take it you're a good conservative. Only dirty liberals wouldn't take this drug. Conversely, vaccines are liberal drugs. No good conservatives would take them, only dirty liberals do.

This is important because it creates clear sides of one half of the country versus the other half, and these sides have to be different about everything and so it's important to pick drugs that conservatives approve of so it's easier to divide ourselves up and know who to hate.

A nuke situation is absolutely terrifying but it makes a LOT of sense. Here's another post in that thread:

Basically, there is a concern that a device is on american soil. Government has this army of drones that can detect nuclear devices. The sensors are even disrupted by sunlight, hence why they only come out at night. Government doesn't want mass panic, hence they are saying they have no idea what it is.

Also, those pics look like they are totally man made vehicles, not aliens.

Follow up theory:

- the US could have a legitimate concern that nuclear material has been smuggled into the country and they desperately trying to find it

These drones may be doing sweeps for the nuclear material. This could explain the hush-hush we are being given for answers. Explain the low altitudes, and the sudden amount of drones in these areas. Still doesn't explain sightings across the globe tho

They're all over the place above Staten Island tonight. This is the first time I've even bothered to look, but there's a bunch of them flying around.

It is absolutely insane that just a random user here can go outside and look up at the sky and see these mystery drones.

And for anyone just writing off these events, I'll break it down and list all the possible explanations and why every explanation is a big deal.

1. Government testing new technology and/or large scale psyche testing. Huge deal because they haven't done anything like this on this scale before. So either new technology or they're fucking with the public, which is scary. Plus they'd be lying to us, of course.

2. Drones are from a political enemy like Russia or China. Obviously a big deal because enemies are flying around right above us doing who knows what. Many of these drones were hovering over water reservoirs. What were they doing?

3. Hobbyist, or a third party, prankster type organization, or a company testing delivery drones, or some other mundane explanation. This is a huge deal because it means our government is inept and helpless because they have no idea what is going on. If they fumbled this much with a bunch of harmless hobbyists, what happens if an actual enemy attacks us?

4. I'm not sayin' aliens, but...aliens.

Was the first story on tonight's nbc evening news just now.

The thing about this event, is even if it's not aliens, it's still a huge deal. Our government is either inept or hiding high tech testing.
