Yeah. They turned an amazing art style with vivid greens, shining white stone, and an ethereal fantasy aura into something that looks more like a post-apocalyptic Fallout game. It's brown and bland.

I'm not talking about resolution or polygon counts here. I'm talking art design.

The world itself and atmosphere is admittedly amazing imo. But everything else about it is super bland.

Wilds has the best gameplay, but everything else about it is worse imo. I prefer Rise, World and 4 Ultimate.

I don't think mine is as bad as some others in this topic. It's just kinda sore is all. The psychological part is more unpleasant than physical right now. Just knowing it's there and could get worse.

But pain wise, it's just a little sore is all. Not itchy or anything. And I can still sit fine.

And for the record I do have a form of ibs called bile acid malabsortion. I take colesevalam regularly but missed several days last week and diareahed hard, I think that's what caused it.

Only going to get worse. Invest in a good cream and speak to your general doctor about it. Look to increase your fibre intake as well. More fibre decreases the chances of bursting a blood vessel.

I just realized that MH cooking scenes activate the same part of my brain that Mortal Kombat fatalities do, except they're in the totally opposite place on the content scale. But you watch them with glee, eager to see just how wild the designers got with them, always hoping they one-upped themselves from last game.

The end game at the moment is to hunt for crowns and hunt tempered monsters for Arterian weapon forging. Arterian weapons seem like a huge waste of time imo.

The end game is incredibly bare and it took less time to get there than it did in Worlds which already had a pretty bare endgame. They dropped the ball there. Game is still great, but they frontloaded the game with a bunch of unnecessary story elements and kinda garbage mons then left the end game for the player to create their own busy work until the next monster drop.

Still having fun, but I got to HR60 in 30 hours and saw everything the game has to offer. I'm at HR71 now and just kinda meandering about.

I actually started a completely new character just to main a different weapon. I know you can just switch whenever, but I need a goal to have fun honestly. If I switched weapons on my main, I would just instantly build the best version of that weapon, then...go kill the same end game monster I was doing, except be bad with that weapon. So I started from scratch! That's helping prolong the game lol.

I guess I'm just used to Helldivers where I racked up 300 hours and still want more.

I kinda feel like this is the slimmest Monster Hunter ever. The new ones, at least. I kinda did everything to do in about 60 hours, and that's it. What are you guys doing for end game? What's the grind? With previous titles I had to put like 200 hours in to get to this point.

Speaking of "Crash out" TC is absolutely correct.

I mean every generation has their own slang but it's hilarious watching Gen Z / Alpha run the shit into the ground immediately.

Like before "Crash out" there was a million different ways to say someone was losing their shit, having a breakdown, blowing up, melt down, flipping out...etc.

Then these kids start saying "Crash out" and it's literally the only way they talk now. It's just so funny to me watching a whole generation of people try to be the exact same person.

Yeah it's mostly various youtube and social media people I see suddenly saying it. It feels like a switch is flipped because all of a sudden people are just forcing it into every instance they can as if it's the most normal thing in the world and I have to go google it.

Thinking about this deeper, it's possible he may have discovered his dead wife's body over and over and over again, reliving the discovery fresh every time he came upon it. Then he wanders out of the room, then the alzheimers kicks in, he forgets everything, then it happens again and again.

I judge movies based on their potential. So like, an obviously shit movie doesn't really rate super high on my bad movie list. But a movie that could have been amazing but is awful rates as really bad on my bad movie list.

It was honestly one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

THAT is how retro games should look. Not the lazy super low pixel count stuff, but idealized versions of 90s snes games. Like, if 3d stuff never came out, what would pixel games look like now?

Tbf she brought out evidence. That's usually way more then how these usually go. It's really unfortunate it turns out she wasn't being honest.

I was personally convinced as well, honestly. Hell that's why I made this topic. But if I had actual skin in the game, I would have waited it out just to be sure. Like, if I was one of those youtuber friends of his.

But I will say, looking back, the evidence never was as fool proof as everyone made it out to be. Tons of stuff she showed had a lot of redacted things in it. Also, that cease and desist letter, there were two dropbox links that were empty, in addition to that youtube link. She never explained those dropbox links. Why did nobody discuss them? Why did nobody ask what they were? They were clearly a huge missing point of information looking back. They were links to more content that the cease and desist letter were talking about. Unlisted videos directly addressing Daniel and Kayla. But did anyone wait to learn the information about those dropbox links? Nope!

Also, in general, people always say "why would anyone fake a SA case? What do they have to gain?" I have always been against that line of logic. It's such a naive way to look at the world. Why would anyone do anything illegal and immoral? Why would a man murder a person? Because they're crazy! It's looking like this person has some serious mental problems and is a jilted lover. That's all the reason a person needs to spin a wild tale like this.

Its understandable if you saw their first video. They broke down crying, had a panic attack toward the end, and came with a ton of screenshotted text messages for receipts. Plus his lawyers sent a cease and desist on a video she talked about control and manipulation etc. in without ever mentioning him by name. It looked very damning.

Yep, and even all his youtube friends and partners cut him off and put out condemning videos and stuff. Like Jackson Dickert, that was a big one. He was crying in his video, saying how disgusted he was.

And then a few days later he posts an apology video, apologizing to Daniel for jumping to conclusions. It's absolutely insane. Merphy Napier is another example. She's a big book youtuber and friend of Daniel's. She condemned him in the beginning, and then had to release an apology video.

And the real crazy thing is, the real kicker, is if you were one of the few people before who said things like "we should wait until all the facts come out, we should hear both sides of the story", then you were basically shit on as well. You were branded as some kind of crazy person or MRA or something like that. Even in Daniel's own discord, which I'm in, the mods were banning people who said stuff like that. Daniel is back in control of his discord now, and he fired every single mod, every last one, and is hiring on a totally new team.

It's wild how human psychology is. Even the people who claim to be the side of logic and not emotion or hate, they are often NOT logical and let their emotions swing them about just as much as that other side.

I was the jabroni who made a topic when Daniel Greene was hit with SA allegations, so it's fair that I also make a topic that shows he's innocent and Naomi King is a crazy person trying to ruin his life.

King made a second video that contradicts stuff from the first video, then later deleted. Then made a third video where they're just vaguely apologizing for everything, then deleted it.

Pretty cut and dry case. Even Kayla is there in his video clearing things up (Greene's fiance).

This is basically a Gone Girl situation. It's absolutely insane. The original allegations were insane, the twist was insane. It was insane how everyone on the internet sentenced Greene so fast, how even his "friends" made and put up videos saying how they want nothing to do with him and don't even want to talk to him.

And now he's innocent.

Will they make apology videos? Will Brandon Sanderson start following Greene again on his social media accounts? Will he ever invite him to do collab stuff again? Nope. Of course not. Even though Greene is literally innocent. This is how human psychology works.

For those saying it looks fine, you do realize it sometimes runs at 30 fps on console right? That is in no way okay for a modern console game. It objectively runs poorly.

I'm on PS5 to clarify.

I'm an og fan of MH since the original on PS2. It's literally my favorite game franchise. If anything I should be forgiving of it, a MH boot licker, if you will.

Visually, I don't think it looks good. It feels like a downgrade from World. Why is the frame rate so bad and choppy? And everything has a blurry layer of Vaseline over it. I feel like I'm playing without my glasses.

This is honestly the first time I've been a bit weary of a new MH game. Other things about it are questionable too. The game menus and infrastructure are pretty bad. Multi-player is more confusing than ever. Character creator is a huge upgrade though. I made a gerudo looking muscle mommy.

I don't really know who this guy is, but it doesn't sound good. If he experienced SA himself, it kind of reminds me of Neil Gaiman: someone who was abused in the past, and who is now unfortunately repeating the cycle.

It's pretty similar, seeing as Greene was viewed as a progressive guy, an "ally", one of the good guys. So for this to come out is pretty horrific.

His content is basically weekly videos that discuss all the fantasy news over the past week. I listened to it regularly.

Apparently he's selling shirts that say "ALLEGEDLY" now.

This looks really bad, but to be fair, it's not what it looks like. He himself has had problems with some shitty people that have sent him legal letters over his youtube content, and so he was advised by his own lawyer to always says "allegedly" and "in my opinion" when discussing certain things, and it kinda became a meme, and so he released a shirt that has this on it.
