Sadly while I probably could afford to get them both without any real issue, I'd feel guilty as fuck to my budget dropping over a grand on Lego sets. I don't like getting more than one big set a year.

I might also need dimensions on this one to be sure it could fit on my shelf. The height might be an issue.
Very fair and reasonable! Both the cost and the shelf space. Cuz this set looks really tall.

Unfortunately theyre not on display right now (I dont think the bin full of the sets in bags would be a very exciting pic ).

Rivendell and Orthanc are assembled though. Orthanc is actually the longest Ive kept a set assembled. It hasnt been taken apart since I built it when I bought it when it released.
I see lmao!

Both Rivendell and Orthanc looks so stellar. Really awesome sets.

Which streaming site are you using to compare them?

I was just looking at the ESC Youtube channel to get the views all from one source, and it's all over the place.

For the finals it's 7th place in views there with 1.8 million views, but If you look at the semi final shows, it's 4nd place with 3 million (behind Netherland, switzerland and... Greece?)

EDIT: My bad, 4th place in 2nd semi final only, the first semi final is further down.
I mean Spotify and the like. Actual music services.

Something that gives extra credence to the voting campaign/vote stuffing theory is the fact that Israels song isnt doing super well in the charts. The songs that get the most televote points almost always get a big increase in streaming and so forth after the Contest yet this is not happening for Israel compared to several other entries that did worse than them in the voting.

Just over half the total votes are from the public, and they can completely change the result.

Like they did the year that Ukraine won.
I believe it is exactly 50/50 actually since the televote on one hand got the Rest of the world group, but San Marino only hand out jury points since they dont have their own phonelines (all that is connected to Italys systems if I have understood things right).

And yeah, the televote winner beat the jury winner in 2018, 2021 and 2022 for example.

I don't know man. I'm iffy on that level of protest against an individual for a singing contest.

I've never watched Eurovision so I might be ignorant on the level of national representation it represents. Like, I can understand protesting an Olympic team during Olympics (Russia for example). Should I be seeing this in the same manner? Maybe that's where my disconnect is.
It is a song Contest and it is pretty much the same thing as an athlete going to the Olympics, yeah. And the winning country gets to host the next edition of the Contest.

Vote for one of the favourites to win. If you dont live in a participating countries then you can vote in The Rest of the World group introduced last year. That voting group counts as one country.

https://eurovision.tv/vote

Each country hands out 1-8, 10 and 12 points. The act with the most votes in a country get 12 points, the second most popular act get 10 points and so forth.

The top acts in the betting:

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/forum/0/0935324b.jpg

Croatia winning is the most likely scenario so support their act if you really wanna resist Israel.

I disagree with it but bringing flags of countries that arent part of Eurovision has never been allowed so it is not a new thing. Still dumb though and it is of course highlighted this year due to Israels atrocious gencidal actions. The Armenian delegation was fined/reprimanded for bringing the flag of Nagorno-Karabakh into the green room in 2016 for example.
