They've had at least a couple with card backs.

The load times in this game are just kinda strange. Like when you fast travel across the world, it's insanely fast. But to retry a battle or move to the next round in the simulator, it sometimes takes quite a few seconds? Doesn't make any sense to me.

What's the deal with the lighting in this game? Like it can't ever decide if it should be bright or dark and it almost flickers back and forth at times? I haven't come across any kind of settings or anything for it though.

In a recent patch (less than 2 weeks ago I think), Aerith's final line in Remake was changed from "I miss it. The steel sky..." to "This sky, I don't like it".

It was assumed this was to match some change in Rebirth, since in the same patch they gave Cowgirl Tifa an undershirt during the brief flashback in Remake to match Rebirth...but the game directly references Aerith saying the Steel Sky line during the Condor sidequest, even though she doesn't say it anymore.

Unrelated, does anyone else still look back and laugh about when they said it was too too hard to make towns, back when they were making the leap to HD? I remember that being such a huge deal around the time XIII, I think, came out. Walking around Kalm, it's so dense and bustling with life. It's super well realized.

Ok finally got started on the game after finishing CC: Reunion late. So uh, my first thoughts are that they must enjoy making us suffer... Climbing stuff with the yellow paint on the ledges is both lame appearance-wise but also painfully slow. And moving around the Mako cleaning machine, what the fuck dude. It's sooo slow for no reason. Hopefully these aren't* indicative of future obnoxious activities <_<

Was Indiana Jones 5 generally considered bad? I missed literally all the buzz and talk around it when it came out. I watched it recently and thought it was good, obviously not as good as the og trilogy but definitely better than 4.

Like someone else mentioned, I think the initial surprise of the huge blubbery walrus at my door would be bigger than the fairy. The fairy would take a sec to sink in.

The general public absolutely had no clue who Iron Man was. If anything you guys are the ones doing revisionist history lol. Only comics readers, and maybe some young people had heard the name before or something, but he was absolutely a nobody as far as general audiences go.

I think the casting was great for both. They look like they could be related.

This is a true point, but as far as superhero media goes, I think the even bigger issue is that everyone - Marvel included - keeps trying to push characters that most people aren't actually interested in. They saw Guardians of the Galaxy make bank despite being a list of D-stringers, then thought they could do the same. Unfortunately, the superhero mania has died down, and most directors aren't James Gunn.

Greenlighting movies based on Morbius and Madame Webb are the most egregious examples of this trend. Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I disagree completely as does history. The MCU literally started with a practically d-list character but because it was a good movie, everyone learned to like the character, and now Iron Man is one of the most recognized superheroes of all time.

Welp, turns out I won't be playing this. My PS5 said fuck you.

I've had an issue with it for years, not long after I got it, where if I spend any amount of time on the home screen without a game running, it just starts soft-reseting over and over again. I've gotten around the issue for so long by just starting up a game as soon as I turn it on, but it's steadily gotten worse this past year. Then I ran into a new issue where my Fortnite data corrupted with each update to the game, and I'd have to delete and reinstall the whole game every patch. In an attempt to fix both things, I factory reset my PS5 last night and now I can't make it through initial set-up before it starts resetting. So it's just a useless brick now, awesome.
